Hassan170

So i have at home two thing one has antennas and the other doesn't

my question is which one is the router and what's the other one? modem?

Next question= which one do i connect to for ethernet cuz both of them have ethernet ports but i can tell which one i should use (currently i use ethernet with the one that has antennas)

PC: Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB 3200mhz RAM (8GBx2), Gigabyte B550M DS3H, GTX 1050 2GB, 650W Semi-Modular PSU80+ Gold

Phone: Poco F3 8GB + 256GB

Audio: Samson SR850s

Sound Card: SoundBlaster Play 4 USB sound card

IEM: planning to get the KBEAR KS2s
Please be patient with me, I'm fatally dumb and its honestly a miracle I've made it this far

The antenna would be your router, which should have an ethernet cable going to the modem. You can plug your ethernet cable(from computer) into the modem if you have extra open jacks, or to the router if you have no extra jacks on the modem.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 4ghz @ 1.35v  CPU Cooler: Mugen 5 Rev b  Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon  GPU: Zotac RTX 2060 +150/+1000 Memory: 16GB Viper 4 @ 3200 CL14 Samsung B-die  Storage: 1TB Patriot VPN100 NVMe; 500GB 860evo; 128gb 840pro CaseCooler Master Q500L  PSU: CX750M V2 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro Other: 6 Corsair LL Fans; 2 aRGB Strips

But no special portforwarding features or firewalls from the modem.

Thats a little hard to say. Many ISP's give you a Gateway which is a modem and router in one. So if the box without antenna's has multiple Ethernet ports, then its most likely a gateway.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
