Dual Cable too Short for Motherboard - Help!

Hi,

I'm currently building my first PC, and I've come across a hitch. Two of the USB cables are attached to each other (even insulated together, so I can't pull them apart), and I can't attach one without being unable to attach the other.

Potentially, get a different case. If that is not an option, i’d Reccomend plugging the USB 3.0

Alright, thanks for the advice. Are there any extensions I can buy to potentially plug in both?

What happened if you plug just the USB3?

I think you can plug just one and have all ports working (since usb are backward compatible).

I think the USB 2 header meant for the motherboard without USB3 header.

Oh, really? That's nice. I haven't finished building the PC yet, I still have to install the SSD and HDD, and fix the cable management, my dad nearly vomited when he saw my current job

If not, you can just get an old header cable from an old case and make your own extension cable.
