Still waiting on GPU and Block and some fittings to come in yet. But doesn't hurt to get started. I got more pictures just haven't transfer them over to the laptop yet. Going to be used for a large range of tasks, video transcoding, photo editing, some gaming, running plex server, and some VM's also continuing on for by BS in cybersecurity.

Looks more like a Build Blog ;)
Nice. What made you go with two different SSDs? I'd have just gone with a single 1TB.

I see you have yet to tame the wire monster.

Beautiful snow white colors on the build,  I love white accents,  there so nice.

Motherboard is nice too,  what kind of features do you like about it?

Do you know the power phase for the vrms?

Probably going to run very cool with your cooling setup and ryzen 7 2700x

Is this your first ryzen build?

I plan on using Mayhems Ice White in the loop just wanted to get everything running and testing with water to start.

The VRMs for the VCore is a 6+2 with International Rectifiers for doubling up the +2 so its like 6+2x2 so basically 6 phase for VCore and 2 phase for SOC with the IR3599 its close to a 3 or 4 phase SOC with half PWM switching. Controlled by a ASP1405 chip which is the same chip found on some ROG boards.

After 8 hours testing 100% GPU and CPU temps settled in on the GPU at about 78c and CPU at about 68c with D5 at about half speed and fan curve set moderate to semi aggressive. I thing it will help if i swap the black ll120 1500rpm front fans for 3 more white ll120 2200rpm fans they have a higher static pressure.

This is my first AMD build since FX-8150 back in 2011 or 2012. Prior to this few years back i was running a i7-4770k and before that i was running a i7-920. After issues with the 4770k system, i ended up going to a higher end laptop for a few years and finally decided i wanted to get back to a desktop.

Wouldnt it be alot wiser to use biocide rather than a kill coil? Would probably reduce chances of galvanic corrotion and keep Ekwb warranty intact.

Also rtx 2080 waterblock with 2070? Does the 2080 block fit the 2070??

I love kills coils I have never had an issue running them in a copper/nickle system in the past for years. The raystorm block i am running is about 8 years old and always had a coil in with it and i took it apart to clean before installing and there isn't any signs of corrosion. Copper/nickle and silver is very safe to run all together, add in aluminum then theirs going to be a problem pretty quick.

Its well known that EK Nickle Plating isn't up to snuff with some of the other major players and in recent years EK has kind of went down hill in my opinion.

As far as the compatibility yes the EK RTX 2080 vector WB fits RTX 2070.

Pictures of it all done and up and running, got a few changes to make going forward, going to get a EK Monoblock for the CPU and VRM, Also going to plumb the drain from the back of the res to the front, also going to replace the front ll120 black fans with white ones static pressure will be higher, also going to add a 240mm rad to the top for cooler overall temps. Right now I peak with gpu and cpu after 30 mins at 72c not to bad but could be a bit better. Also going to invest in another 16gb kit of memory in the near future.

Few hiccups along the way, ordered the wrong mounting plate for the raystorm block got the AM3+ version had to reorder the correct one. The cpu back plate stand offs are to tall so had to rig up some custom mounting. Also the Graphics Card with the EK block was bought second hand and i noticed after doing some initial stress test and benchmarks the card was reaching up past 80c and sometimes higher and was barely running at its base clock. I took the card apart to find the die was just smothered in crappy TIM so i ended up putting a IC graphite pad on and the memory and vrm pads had plastic wrap still between the pad and the water block after correcting them, Temps dropped like a rock and the core now boosts to 1950 Mhz with no manual overclock just power slider turned up.

Another issue the case came with a commander pro and pwm fan one is stuck at full speed, swapped fan and forced firmware no go. So Corsair is sending out a replacement.

Overall i am very pleased with the build and performance.
