Yeah I thought it was an upcoming macbook with that resolution, had just woken up when I read it.

Still not my thing, once you go 21:9 ultrawide you never go back.

I don't think I could get used to 21:9. Not having things full screen would bug the crap out of me and I heard the support for 21:9 isn't super great for games.

This is old news, Blizzard titles (because they hate 21:9 for some reason) and a few exceptions like League of Legends are the only games you'll still not find 21:9, everything else indie to AAA does full support on it, and immersion and quality etc it's all real.

I am yet to experience a game I want to play that didn't support it, also having stuff fullscreen or not is still perfectly doable it's just a matter of getting used to it.

Does fallout or skyrim support 21:9?

Also I mostly play overwatch so that would be a pretty big issue.

I don't like either of these games but

All Fallout games except Fallout 76 supports it.

Skyrim's latest remaster HD thingy added support, original didn't but modding it to support is straight forwards/easy.

I don't play anything competitive online any more, been years I dropped it due to lack of time, I only play single player story driven games and alike, which is where 21:9 shines the best.

Not trying to convince any one to get it, just that it's an excellent alternative depending your user case... if all you do is play competitive first person shooters sure, I see a 144hz normal 16:9 panel as the senseful pick.
