Hackintosh Installation

xox

Before anyone has a go, I did post on the tonymacx86 forums, but no-one responds on there for some strange reason.

I decided to install Mac OSX Snow Leopard on my SSD. I took all of the precautionary steps (like removing Windows HDD, Removing GPU, Installing iBoot IvyBridge on a DVD)

But when load up the Snow Leopard DVD, it says 'You need to restart your computer' It won't get to the installation screen.

Can anyone help?

Compatible with Windows 95

If you can't get your hands on a mavericks image, I can send you one if you want.

Could you? That would be great!

Is it an ISO file? Can it be put onto a USB stick using Windows?

I was planning on installing Snow leopard (because I have the DVD) and then installing Maverick's on a USB pen. It causes more problems than it solves imo.

I'll try to convert it, found this instruction: http://forums.appleinsider.com/t/159955/howto-create-bootable-mavericks-iso

Edit: people say there were errors, but it think it's worth a try
