dell inspiron with a 1050?

As long as crypto currencies stay in the realm of commodity speculation, governments will leave it alone.  As soon as crypto-currencies start to achieve their stated goal of replacing central banks and government currency manipulation, governments will crack down and ban it.

Right now it's nice if you have some compute power left and want to make some extra bucks.
 
But for the future... just think of no electricity or no internet anymore, then all cryptocurrencies will be worthless.

It would be really hard for the Admins & Mods to massage all of the authors who had their topics deleted, would take a lot of travel and a database of addresses to get to the authors.

Same. In a tower, for me, I just focus on having room for everything, and having everything I need like front panel usb, expansion card slots, etc.

Yeah, I like as little plastic as possible, as well as lots of room. that's always a must for me.

shouldn't be as long as there's the same amount of VRAM in both cards. But I don't think you have to worry about that with the 980ti.

RAM could be an upgrade if you feel like you need it, you won't see too much of a difference though unless you're doing content creation or something. It does look nice to fill those DIMMs though

No need to buy RX 570,580. If you're not going for Hard-core gaming GTX 1050/Ti will suffice

Run all the traffic through a VPN over port 443, 1164, or 80

Almost 100% sure that won't work. Furthermore, 443 is HTTPS and 80 is HTTP....... lol already taken
To port forward you need administrator access to the internet-facing router in order to setup forwarding to your router and then from your router to the server. In other words, with the public internet context, it's impossible unless they let you in.

Yet while in the military you point real firearms at people during training. That should NEVER be done! That is so unsafe. Weapons should never be pointed at people during training.
