Tristerin reacted to Hinjima in Airflow advice to decrease GPU temps
Yeah the fans drawing air through the radiator is going to draw less air due to the resistance of the radiator.  The air will also be slightly warmer of course and that is what the GPU has to work with.  Its not all about fresh air but its about replacing the air inside the case as fast as possible and not have any hot air lingering.
The AIO-H100i RGB PRO XT is a 240mm radiator and the MASTERBOX MB520 supports a 240mm radiator on top so you could mount it there, pushing air from the case to the outside.  Then you can add 2 high airflow fans in the front that will definitely give your 2070 Super a lot more air to work with.  This is a common method 🙂  There are different programs you can use to adjust the fan speed of most fans ( If they are PWN / 4pin ).

    Summary

A YouTuber has published a video where he tricks ChatGPT into generating usable Windows 95 activation keys. After asking Open AI’s chatbot directly for Windows 95 keys, he received an expected reasoned refusal. YouTuber Enderman then asked the same thing but from a different angle. The result was a success which was somewhat limited by ChatGPT’s ability to process natural language requests into formulas.

    My thoughts
It is pretty funny. The question is, will ChatGPT will be able to generate more lucrative keys like in the case of enterprise equipment (ESXi, Cisco etc.)

Not reading all this but if you put in a i7 3770 (which last I checked are cheap AF) you would have alot more CPU overhead.  Your GPU only using 10% is because it isnt being given more opportunity to work in that given frame "per second" to put as many frames as it can fit.

Oh ok, thats up to you then. Id never suggest buying a new i7 3770, that would be poor choice of using money on a build.  A used one is $30 from a reputable seller on Ebay.  (then turn around and sell your old CPU for $15 bucks, and voila, even cheaper)

I buy used all the time and its never once went wrong.  Between buyer protections etc I have zero worries personally.

If nothing is wrong with the PC its fine.  That header is for custom voltages from what I understand and it didnt blow anything up, and ran it optimally then its fine.  I wouldnt stress at all

It isn't merch for the majority of the fans but for the whales that throw money at anything with a LMG branding.

The whole pack is worth like 5$.

They would never have had the chutzpah to sell something overpriced like this if people weren't willingly buying every bit of merch trash with a >500% markup for years now.

This is why we can't have nice things 😥

This is a good PC. But, if you want to improve the gaming experience, a new graphics card would be a solid choice. With a Ryzen 5 3600, most anything would accompany it nicely, so base your upgrade more on budget most of all. Of course if you upgrade super far, considering buying a new power supply and monitor would also be worthwhile.

Tristerin reacted to GuiltySpark_ in Why MSI put optical output in my mobo when I cannot get a surround output from this source?
What is the source audio you're trying to play back? Optical S/PDIF can do compressed digital 5.1 (old school Dolby Digital or DTS) but you need to be playing something back that's actually in that format so it can be sent to a decoder (usually a home theater receiver).

For everything else, you'll be uncompressed 2.0 stereo.

Ditto where I work (but granted, money is no object as I'm in gov't) AMD isn't even a consideration...it's Intel, or nothing. Even vendor owned gear isn't allowed to have AMD parts for "compatibility reasons" which is total BS. There hasn't been "compatibility" issues since the days of Cyrix.

    Tristerin reacted to P e r s e p h o n e in Someone please help! Long time problem, nothing has helped.
    Option 1:
For me when the problems are this alarming, I usually try fresh windows install. If you have the luxury of additional spare drives, you might be able to get away with running a test drive instead of nuking your current system. This will eliminate the probability that it's a software issue. If you do this make sure you run the latest updates to your OS and drivers. Keep a backup of your data of course. Unplug any drives that aren't related to your OS if you really don't want to accidentally nuke the wrong drive.

    Option 2:
If your system temps/power draw and so forth are reporting within reasonable ranges, it sounds like it might just be your monitor cables. Had the same thing happen to me a while ago. Try switching ports and cables. Do both if you're lazy and don't want to figure out which of the two are causing the problem. It's what I did.

    Subsection 2a:
Your monitors themselves are the problem. Also had this happen to me, but I had my monitors run for like 15 years.

    Option 3:
Another issue might be an unstable change to your BIOS. Try clearing CMOS or updating to the latest version.

    Option 4:
Unstable/dirty power... We'll cross that line if we eliminate these other free/cheap fixes.

There are probably more things we can try, but I'd need more information from you and probably to see what the results are from these suggestions.

My buddy had the humble sub, and before he de-sub'd (reasons above, quality of games went down over the years) he still had like 3 picks from every weeks bundle left for over a year.  I got so many free games from him.  Humble legit as it gets.
