Yes this is kind of what i’m doing but I have a laminated printout in a safety deposit box, i’m not trying to take any risks.

I have a server rack in my attic, so it’s just easier for me to put the PC in there.

Gotta pull a #repostapp, this picture right here disagrees with anything you said. Until you show me an IPS monitor that looks like even this panel, which is rather a bit wimpy compared to the Alienware coming in at 13 inches... OLED is WAY superior. This however doesn't have the issues of the AW and cycles in several ways against burn-in. Every time I turn this thing on, it makes me wish my PC monitor was also an OLED... especially on a black background. The Asus Zenbook picture doesn't make it as good as it does on them blacks... 34 is great up-close as well with an aggressive curve.

I’m planning to build the audio set up over time so it won’t be straight away. Probably will start with some klipsch R+L bookshelf speakers

I wouldn’t really use the TV as like a monitor, i’ll use my current monitor for PC stuff and then move my Pc to the other room to game on. I’m not really a fan of large screens over 32 inches on my desk, seems a little overwhelming to me

The way i’m planning to set up is a 55/65inch Tv and a beanbag the optimal distance away from the screen to cover my field of vision. Honestly for me I can tell the difference between the TVs a lot and anything below an Oled seems a bit pointless to me and the 120hz on new Tvs is super appealing. The QD Oled aspect is something iv never seen before but iv heard a lot of good thing about it and the cost difference isn’t huge between one of LGs lower model OLEDs and the QD OLED by samsung. I hate to use the dreaded word but hopefully it more future proof with the new tech and the sound i’ll build up slowly over the next few months after

Seems like a great options but if I had that kind of money I couldn’t help myself but to get one of Sonys Master series TVs. Not as good for gaming but Netflix and media would be crazy good

So I had a RTX 3080 strix which I do mine on the side a bit because I have free electric at uni. Anyway I noticed the G6x would hit 107-110 while mining and 90+ while gaming and 100+ gaming with the power limit cranked to 121%. Anyway I thought that was too high and decided to repad my GPU. I have done this before for a friends 3080 Suprim X with Gelid ultimate pads which dropped the temps from 110c (His Gpu has a G6x contact issue with original pads) down to 82c mining 70+ gaming.

I used pads by a place called GPU Risers.co.uk which had pads which claimed 20kw which was about 5kw more than any other pad I could find. I looked more into these pads and they are pretty big in the mining space so if they can do ok in those situations for me they should be great, I just didn’t know how good.

Mining temps 76c and gaming 66c and gaming with max power limit 70c. That’s an incredible jump in cooling and I haven’t really seen many people talk about this pads and how good they are, but they are soooo good. Just wanted to share my experience and results. Also pads cost £25 which is a little expensive compared to other but not bad considering performance

So just for my test, there was only 1 device connected, my iphone 13 pro and you can run a speed test to see how fast the connection to the orbi is and it is 900mb. The test was done using speedtest.net and I was within 1 ft from the device

From how he’s describing it, it sounds like loud coil whine. I never had this issue with the video card, i’m just offering him £20 back as a refund, so hopefully I don’t have to deal with any ebay issues

Daniel_1104 got a reaction from Slayerking92 in 2 Routers, 1 home network problems
So I have 2 routers, I have a Linksys WRT 1900ACS and the router my internet provider gave me a Virgin Media Super Hub 3.0. The super hub 3 has pretty good wireless, but i’m a bit overkill so I use a powerline (temp solution) from my 1st Superhub router to my 2nd 1900ACS upstairs. It has a bridge mode which I used but it wasn’t a seamless experience because you had to turn wifi on and off from the device for it to change routers.

Today I tried a static IP on the 1900ACs but that seems to have made it worse and it keeps connecting to the same router for some reason.

Im not really a networking expert so if probably missed something simple or that just the way it works and it don’t just switch between routers automatically. Maybe I need to get another device instead of the 1900acs.

    Please let me know thanks.

Check your CPU usage, if that spikes when your GPU dips then that’s the problem i’m guessing

This is just more of a discussion, does anybody else’s PC heat up there whole room to a pretty much unbearable point at nights? It’s summer in the UK and I close my windows at night because of moths but I try to leave my door open but my Pc literally turns my room into a sweat box. My room ain’t really small or my PC isn’t running hot, it’s just hottor than room temp.
