  1. Yes, holy sh*t i'm basically just skipping through comments made by people who just recently join or weren't active in forum previously. The amount of toxicity is actually worse here compared to YT comment section
  2. I'll never get people who spend money just to be an advertisement for product they bought
  3. It could be scary if they look at oil pricing and OPEC+ and goes "ohh we can do that as well"
  4. Because korea is a land connected country to china If you want decentralized currency, this is the kind of things you have yo deal with
  5. Not enough people realize there'll be people in the audio sub-forum thinking "No, this will absolutely make a difference"
  6. As someone who lives in a country with defamation law, horrible idea. It's just going to be used as ammo for politicians to protect themselves
  7. Nothing new here, people spend exorbitantly on burberry scarf after all. The argument here is: might as well spend $30 rather than penny pinch for something horrible that can actually damage my $3000 laptop
  8. Kinda ironic how they didnt learn anything from star citizen. Both games overpromise and probably kept on adding features while the minimum requirements weren't reached yet
  9. People be here talking about "muh privacy" Poor people in 3rd world country just want better life, privacy can shit itself if it means they can have better QoL Same thing why many people in china support CCP, many of them are seeing and feeling the development.
  10. People are going to think free no ad YT is their right somehow I pay $7 for family plan but I'm in less developed country, that's why it's cheap. Absolutely worth it.
  11. IMO, the true future is in solar tech. You can make EV extremely sustainable by promoting solar panels for housing in places like california, nevada and arizona. I would legit support a legislation requiring houses above certain areas and price to have solar panels installed. Because people who buy them can afford the additional price and big houses generally use so much electricity, they should reduce their carbon footprint.
  12. Are we talking about google or alphabet in general? Google being stable is a good thing. We dont want new things released under the google name and then being gone in 3 years. The reason why alphabet group exists is to enable small projects to be created under different company names. As they become successful, it will eventually be integrated under the google name.
  13. A for-profit company makes a move that maximizes its profit AND THE CROWD GOES WILD enter surprise pikachu face here
  14. Perhaps through hacking, or in-person interrogation or torture. Either way, I don't care, these criminals don't deserve to be treated as human beings
  15. You would hope all of automotive industry would learn from boeing 737 max and wont make critical safety features optional Apparently not.
  16. While the idea is good, knowing the absolute shitshow that's EU bureaucracy, we'll have to sit down and see where this goes
  17. As someone who owns intel mbp 13, i tried opening safari on m1 mac and it made me cry The performance jump made old macbooks feels like ancient machine
  18. Looks at TS name Not sure a real news or a wu mao Either way, if it's truly a military tech requiring military contractor, microsoft most likely will need to vet specialized team consisting of US citizen only, since Department of Defense keeps anything about their technology top secret. It's the same way Boeing makes jet figher for US governments.
  19. While you're true unfortunately iPhone is the best phone in terms of re-sale if you buy a phone right when it's released
  20. I mean android is free so that's just how Google makes money You buy apple devices and pay for their software and services upfront
  21. I dont see how hyundai will ever shed it brand for a car its producing The brand is on the rise, big time and most reviews are praising the hyundai kia brand for the past 2 years or so
  22. I've had good internet connections while living in the US. That said I lived in seattle and minneapolis, 2 high tech urban cities. The size of the US and the amount of people living the suburbs makes tech like starlink more viable than deploying cables tbh
  23. While samsung learns how to make their ultra phone looks better, vivo is now making their phone looks ugly
  24. I understand tesla charging a subscription based system for the car The system is still developing at quite rapid pace. The system itself requires continuous spending on R&D Look, having subscription system for now means it allows more people being able to use it when they need / want to. Although to be fair, tesla should provide the option of buying this feature outright, even if they are expensive
