I only partially agree with this statement.  It's fine for a computer to look like this, but it's also perfectly fine if someone wants their computer to be aesthetically pleasing.  Computers can be a form of artistic expression.

There is the Off-Topic section of the forum for discussing non-tech related topics. Things like movies, TV shows, books, fitness and sports, pets, etc. The car thread in off-topic is actually the most popular thread on the forums. You're welcome to participate in non-tech based discussions in the Off-topic section, though keep in mind the Off-Topic guidelines.
 
Though to make it clear this isn't the place for discussing religion and politics.
The problem with religion and politics in online forums are people involved in those discussions are generally speaking not open to the opinions and viewpoints of others. They have their own beliefs and they're stuck to them. This is true for both religion and politics. No-one reading an online forum discussion about it will suddenly think to themselves "You know what, this person makes a good point. I'm converting to a different religion/political lean". Plus, because of how sensitive the subjects can be and how emotional some people can get when discussing them, it also attracts people whose only intention is to troll and cause disruptions.

I had a watch before I had a phone and I never really stopped wearing one. I also find it easier and more convenient to glance at my watch rather than having to take out my phone.
