    Freesync & Gsync not the same thing are they? Don't believe a 1070ti would support freesync or that your monitor would support gsync.
     
    Here is a link to the old windmill demo for freesync (private link so maybe test for viruses). Probably a better way to see whats happening than a game.

    You should be able to reassign the output to a different port. Try that.

    I would think that if the front works ok it must be a hardware problem with the jack. May be a broken jack. Double check the plug is fully inserted.

    These are the 2.1 THX certified Logitech setup I use and they sound amazing IMO. Clear audio quality, TONS of bass.

    FYI I get high ambient temps too. Try 100f. I added water cooling and it does a much better job than air. The Noctua NH-D15 that it replaced could match it in cooler temps, but not once ambient got above around 80f. The GPU just loves it all round.

    For software to drive it I would recommend Argus Monitor.
    p.s you only need to buy a licence for 1 year. It wont ever expire. You just stop getting updates.

    No. It will restart. Sleep store info in RAM which loses power when unplugged. Hibernate write that info to disk.
