Drive Cloning w/ Windows OS

TheWahmenRespektor

So I am new to the PC realm and even I don't know what I'm trying to ask... So I currently am using a PC that has a 1TB HDD and I was wondering if it is possible to clone a HDD with its OS and contents to an SSD? I have a 512GB Samsung SSD that I want to make my main drive on the next computer I am currently building... Is this possible? Is there any free software that I can use that is trustworthy? Please link in comments, thanks.

PS: I don't know if this was the right category to post in, but it came closest

Yup just use samsung data migrate. really easy

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Macrium Reflect is your software. And you can find many topics here, on forum, about that. Use rescue usb created by Reflect so you'll be cloning offline system.

Better option - the same program, the same method (bootable usb) but made image on some third hdd and restore that image on your ssd. You'll have backup.
