Got the same "issue" on my 7900XTX, 70C GPU temp but hotspot 95C, but it doesn't throttle tho
Seems to be intended behavior, a PTM/washer repaste solves it but it's not really needed

TJmax is 110°C so you're still within the margin.
That said its on the higher side but at the same time it's not that bad.

My 6800 XT deviated by almost 40°C from the GPU Temp to TJmax before I fixed it with washer mod and PTM 7950.

Prime95 small fft will load it pretty hard, basically worst case scenario for power and heat.
That temp spread looks pretty fine, 3-4 degrees is fine. Probably the game is just being ran on a single CCD which is both going to play it faster and create uneven heat load. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, that can happen.  The overall temps looks very good so there is nothing to worry about here 🙂

i assume if there's a trick to get it going again, they'll do that. but if the cells dropped out of spec, chances are that damage is done, and then the part is cheaper than troubleshooting to find out your capacity is ass.

No you can't boot from a disk you want to clone as some files will be locked and not possible to copy.

You can boot to a utility usb. and have the disks installed on the board and clone it.

The sata to m.2 adapters are only for SSD m.2 drives, not nvme. SSD's use SATA controller, NVME use PCIE cpu based controller.

Better leave them on the board and download a utility like clonezilla or gparted and create a bootable usb to start it from so your nvme's isn't in use.

That's the system app that is used to install apps. Nothing to worry about. You can even see that it's listed under System Apps. If you could remove it, it would make it impossible for you to install apps ever again.

Apps generally can't install other apps on your device without Android prompting you for permission.

    You're in the Python IDLE.

You need to use command line python to install pip.

Open up a command prompt terminal, type python pip install --upgrade pip and let me know what it says.

Little to no chance for that on Intel 12000 series or AMD 5000 series (you can always zip-tie it to the top fans, top of the case xD)
The cooler came loose in shipping, they reseated it near the end of the video, and then it was working like clockwork xD

Only using very low profile ram, unfortunately 😞

However you almost never need more than 1 fan on dual tower coolers. The middle fan is plenty (it's only 2-3c degrees diference). And if you really need you can always compensate with an exhaust mounted on the case next to the back of the NH-D15.

@Mouse-PotatoOh btw, there's a new watercooling killer air setup becoming possible soon (even on OC-ed 12900KS). Just saw it on the newest Linus video with Splave overclocker. Made possible by the new copper coldplate on the IceGiant ProSiphon Elite (possibly courtesy of "Splave colab with IceGiant) xD Air Power!!

Conveniently there done NH-D15 comparison to the new Siphon

A long time ago, during the era of 486's, when I had no idea about computers.

I would go to my technology class at school during lunch break and surf the web, a couple of guys I knew from my school were building an internet site. They kept saying .gif this and gif that until I had heard it enough and asked them why they were always talking about peanut butter..
Needless to say they almost pissed themselves, good times.

Mouse-Potato reacted to ForwardVoltage in Will a Gen 3 SSD with OS affect a Gen 4 drives speed for workloads ?
NVMe vs SATA (AHCI) is already pedantic in OS speed. Gen 3 vs Gen 4 is more so. In fact actually, most Gen 4 drives (Innogrit--but firmware f'ed its cache, WD Prop, 980 Pro, 4+ are exceptions) are actually slower (think E16) in that regard. It's not a bottleneck.

If you want the 980 Pro @ 1TB, SN850 @ 2TB, or Rocket 4 Plus @ 4TB, that'd be the end-all-be all drive setup...Would just using a SK Hynix Gold P31 or Samsung Evo Plus be good enough? Probably....I'd have to revisit some benchmarks to see the difference between those Gen 4 vs Gen 3 drives.

I do have to say props to you, even if you did it unknowingly, for splitting the drives as seen by some Pudget Systems, professional video editing with separate drives drastically improves performance.

Thank you very much for all the info, i'm going to re run test with a lower frequency albeit i have had intermittent issues with this PC in the past, buggy behavior, crashes, etc, but might be RAM frequency related. As you said though, i'll down clock to 2933 and re run test

Mouse-Potato reacted to porina in Memtest86 results are back and don't look good, what do they mean ?
Have you had that system long? If it was ok in the past I wouldn't necessarily expect a change now, but things might age and push it over. First gen Ryzen was more fussy with ram than later ones. It might just not be up to running that ram at that speed. I'd try reducing the ram speed to 2933 for example, and see if that runs memtest without error. Since it looks like only one test is failing, you can do a custom run and select only that test to quickly get confidence, before doing a full run.

Once you have the ram stable, you can get Windows to check its own integrity which can save you from a full re-install unless there are wider problems. Details are above, but in short run the following as administrator:
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth sfc /scannow

These 12 files out of 13 are virus from GOOGLE/CHROME folder and I detected 13 items out of which no items were quarantined and non were deleted so you still have virus in your computer. also when you see items in quarantine be sure to delete them permanently and restart your computer and make sure everything on your PC is up to date.

run full scan with Malwarebytes and tick everything that appear on the CUSTOM SCAN options menu like root kits etc.

I had some virus also in my browser (when I clicked somewhere on the browser it will pop up another tab which contained adds). and I get rid it by Malwarebytes.

Edit:- if you cant do anything more complex then reinstall Chrome or switch to another browser like the New Edge(i personally use it and like it quite a lot than Chrome and other browsers)
