Benjals got a reaction from Xx_osos_xX in Thermaltake Smart SE 730W any good?
He asked if the power supply was good, how does BLCT's post answer that? It is just saying that you should spend money on a good power supply, which is true though it doesn't tell OP if the power supply is good or not?

He legit asked for none of that, he's here because of that reason.
He wants to know if it's safe, that's why he made a post.

it's a pretty good cooler, but mounting it will be a pain IIRC

Why the 960 evo and the 860 evo?
Also why only 2x4GB RAM?
OP wants 1440p display for gaming (maybe 144hz?), but wants to play PUBG at 1440p. 1050ti is good for 1080p gaming, but for 1440p PUBG it won't cut the mustard.
The mail in rebates on a lot of those items probably aren't available in Australia. (We miss out on a lot of them, some are world wide, but most aren't)
You can set the country in PCPartPicker up the top right hand of screen and it will change the source of the parts to Australian retailers and to AUD. The cost of that build is $1300 AUD, not $1022.

Probably the drive is bad. You can download a USB installer creation tool from Microsoft directly and make a new one.

This. This got me into game development. I would just make clones of popular games in my free time.

Lovely machine, nice display for your graphic design, and more than powerful enough for the adobe suite and IDEs.
Quality is nice as well, Linus has done videos over the few generations of the XPS line-up if you wanna browse that before making the decision.

This is sad A core # increase wasn't possible in 7 previous generation (Nehalem to Kaby Lake) but it's possible to double the core count in 2 gens now that AMD actually offers competitive CPUs?

Benjals reacted to paddy-stone in Windows 7 trying to resume random "install" on boot
Agree, as it's a windows install, so the windows boot manager runs, then msconfig is your answer as @Benjals said. If it was linux and the GRUB boot manager had options that needed configuring/deleting then you'd use grub manager either from inside the OS itself or from a liveUSB/CD.

Windows+R>msconfig>Boot tab>delete faulty boot option

Benjals got a reaction from Abubakr Suleman in So are there any reasons to hate against net nuetrality?
The only reason it shouldn't exist is so ISPs can gain control over how they can offer up access to the internet. Different deals for access to different sites and platforms, all to rake in more cash from the consumers and site owners.
The death of net neutrality has no benefits to the end consumer, just ISPs.

Benjals reacted to APasz in What is your future computer build?
Oh boy. While I haven't got the specific details laid out as it's still a couple years out, here's the idea of what I'm planning on.
Minimum of 24 threads, probably more like 32. At least 64gb ram, probably more like 96gb. At least 12tb of raid 10 hdd space with a couple of ssd's.
Basically what I'm going to be doing with the computer is running a few VMs. 2 for me, 1 for my 'roommate' and maybe a couple others for general stuff.
