If you need one ASAP and the price/performance isn't any better anywhere else especially since some cards are out of stock everywhere, then pull the trigger and get the quadro. Good thing about the Quadro that I didn't mention was that they hold their value better than Geforce cards so you could always sell it later if you so wished.

Yes! The SLI information was very helpful. I would love to spring for a 1080 or 1070 but unfortunately need a GPU asap for work and cannot wait for the pricing to go back to normal and stocks to increase.

Is this the only game that does this? Usually, it's not recommended to alt tab out of games due to instability it can cause, especially with the lower level API's. I have a few games that behave like this. There isn't anything wrong with your computer.

Go to memory timing option and scroll all the way in the bottom and enable MRC Fastboot. If it's available. Make sure FastBoot is enabled as well.

Dell use a different pinout on there latching connector than the standard fan connector, since you have already modified your mobo to fit a standard fan connector all you have to do is pop the wires out of the fan connector and put them back in the right order. make your wires order the same as connector on left. yellow is white. if you have a 3 pin ignore blue pwm.

This is why I don't watch advertisements by the company trying to sell a product. I go after reviews from others to judge products these days. I actually don't even know what OnePlus has been doing to turn them into a laughing stock tbh lol.

It took them quite long to copy the current trend of other high end smartphones to have a high screen to body ratio.
I hope they got some outstanding features on board, cause otherwise this will be just another boring launch of a smartphone.

Thermal paste wasn't bad at all and the amount you put on is more than enough... If MCE is turned off and your cooler is rated well enough to handle your TDP, might want to look at delidding, but like the person above me said, check your temps and and voltages at idle in the BIOS. Make sure that any auto OC is turned off. Something to consider, someone can correct me if I'm wrong, is to set your voltage to manual and use the stock settings out of the box. I know some motherboards allow for you to set a maximum voltage spike but still allow your CPU to throttle down when idle. I know there are a lot of great tutorials out there that would be similar to your board. Plus it helps that the BIOS with ASUS are pretty much the same across the product line when it comes to interface so following a tutorial for kaby or skylake shouldn't be that big of an issue. Again, people here are always here to help if you need it.

Update: Noctua is the best company ever. NH-D15 dropped in game temps from 95+C to 65C. LOL God bless.
(with MCE on still. plan to manual OC soon)
    - A note to future 8th gen Intel buyers: Spend cash on your cooler. You'll freaking need it.

Temps within BIOS are normal. Not high at all, which is good and means it's probably not my mount (probably ASUS auto high voltages as people are suggesting). I decided to say f*** it and buy a Noctua NH-D15. Will report back with those temps Tuesday. If the change is minimal I can always return it.

Alright update: I just reapplied the thermal paste. The first 2 photos are what it looked like removed (I don't think too bad?) and the last 2 are the current. Temps are identical. Looks like a cooling issue/naturally hot processors is my guess?

Your cooler is good enough. First things to check when you have hot temps are voltages and idle in BIOS. If idle in BIOS is 50C or higher, you have definitely bad mount. If its 45C or under, thats normal. But I would say its voltages causing this. You can check it very easy by disabling any auto-OC or using manual voltages.

Not saying that you can't OC. But auto-OC is known to push volts over what is really needed.

Also, refrain from using P95 for any testing. It really isn't worth anymore when we have Aida64, OCCT and Asus RealBench for better testing.

Air cooler with 90C on all 6 cores at 4.7GHZ. I guess it's normal since people are running this chip in the high 70 with 280mm liquid cooler.
