Get rid of CS:GO and put CS:S on there CS:GO would be nothing without CS:S

Also Left 4 Dead 2

Even though i didn't like it: Dragon Age: Origins

Also WoW it was the game which made MMORPGs mainstream

3D Pinball Space Cadet and Minesweeper

World of Warcraft? That game has been going strong for the past 13 years almost (Turns 13 on the 23rd of next month)

Already got TF2 so that's good.

Seems like MMORPGs sadly aren't that popular, and that's a shame.

This would have been better if people could vote on it...

Well maybe what OP could do is make a list of games and then a poll.

MMORPGs have a niche market but also have the most stigma about them, also WoW has a sterotype of being played by a bunch of 14 year old, thus why it's probably not that popular

And I thought it's because 99,9% of mmorpgs have fps problems.

Blizzard reports that they have about 10 million active subscribers, heck Overwatch can kinda be lumped into that category and that's got an assload of players. Obviously, it's not as popular as FPS games and the like. Though I wouldn't say that it isn't popular.

As a wow player, I feel that it's comprised of a bunch of 20-something year olds of different maturity.

Hmm, I mostly associated that crowd of people being in their 20s-30s. FPS players I figure are 12-27 years old or so.

Nah, World of Warcraft at least runs pretty well on older hardware still. After all it's a game from 2004.

Blizzard hasn't reported their subscriber numbers in years, and it's far from the 10 million mark.

10M active subscribers? I find that hard to belive somehow.

Overwatch seems like much more popular game to me and it's free to play once you buy it. Not like WoW where you need to pay every month just to play it.

Ah, I see. Well I just did a quick Google search and it was saying how Legion might've gotten it actually past that 10 million mark lol.

Idk in the server I play on, it's rarely empty at least in the larger cities like WotLK Dalaran and Legion Dalaran are pretty busy at most hours. And it says it's not a full server with queues.

I see you're not up to date on Blizzard tech, they use something called "sharding" and it fills up your world with players from other realms, not just the ones who are connected, this way they make you feel like your world is more populated, even though there might only be a couple of hundred active players on your realm.

Well I guess apparently that number is inaccurate, so it's kinda hard to tell what Blizz averages in a year when there is no new Expac.

Yeah, Overwatch is more popular lol, because you only buy the game and then there's no service fee unless you play on consoles.

Technically you can play WoW for free, it's just you're very limited in what you can do.

Level 20, way lower max gold, no access: AH, Mailbox, Whisper, Adding Friends (You have to be added), and I think there's more stuff.

Some people can justify spending $15 a month, some can't. I'm in the boat where, when I can afford it I will. However, I can do without. Which idk, I like the game. But I've been playing TF2 a lot more because of various reasons.

I was out of harcdcore pc gaming for most of the last few 3 or 4 years.  So my list will probably include some oldies.  here they are in completely random order and no specific number.  Except the first 3,and  everybody should play the first one.

Half life.  Game changer for me.  Basically the reason I got back into FPS games since I didnt like any of them I played before this enough to buy them.  I must have played it through 3 or 4 times back to back after my friend let me borrow it.

DOOM (orginal).  I kept playing this one at a friends house as well.  When I got my Sega 32x for christmas my parents got me this game to go with it.  It was about as good as you could hope for for a console at the time, but when I got a PC that could actually game this was the first game I went looking for.

Warcraft 3.  I had played the first two, and enjoyed them but I was obsessed with this game when it launched.  I just finished playing it through again last year.  Single player was great and the online feature was actually fun.

Civilization, pretty much any of them

Star wars Battlefront (2004)

Medal of Honor Allied Assault

Myst/Riven (I think you have to be old to really appreciate the gameplay)

Overwatch

Quake Arena

Morrowind

GTA 3

The scale of the last 2 games was mesmerizing when they launched.  I bought both of them around the same time expecting something more like a tradition RPG where you could wonder around but it was mostly mission based.  I dont think I ever finished morrowind because I just got caught up in running around and having fun seeing everything.

I have not played GTA5 yet, 4 was a good game, but I had it on ps3 which was ok but lack of mods made it less fun.

Well yeah that too, but it says what server they're on.

I mostly see ones without that server tag so I figure w/e
