Princess Luna got a reaction from Mateyyy in Why is it every case these days seems to come with a tempered glass side panel?
For the same reason why mATX builds are becoming so scarce... the manufacturers thinks they know what the majority wants and only pushes that to the market, then the market on the other hand only has that for an option so that's what public in general buy making it a vicious cycle.

People think the market is dictated by the consumer but in reality it is the consumer who's dictated by the market.

False, the FE has the same cooling capacity as other cards now, it wasn't plagued by the insufficient capacitors like the 'cheaper' aib cards and as cherry on top of the cake as always the FE cards have the best binning.

    240hz is a gimmick, besides buying a 3080 for 1920x1080p lol

Get yourself a 2560x1440p165hz panel, and no the 8700K still games much like the i9's specially if you're not multi-tasking with other cpu heavy loads.

Uh no, don't base yourself on these fake videos it's just a montage. SLI is something of the past.

Everyone who had a 1080 Ti could have waited the 3000 series and now the 3080 is here... it's a good upgrade but since this is nvidia if the 1080 Ti still does the trick might as well wait for a 3080 Ti or 3080 Super still.

Princess Luna got a reaction from happyrkc in Is the COOLER WRAITH PRISM ok for the 3700x?
Yes you can stick to the stock cooler, it's part what makes the 3700X a much better value CPU than the i7 9700K

Princess Luna got a reaction from LAwLz in Why is "Future Proof" such a hated term?
It's simply because there's no such thing as future proofing, you must buy for the today and not tomorrow.

Imagine buying a 1300$ RTX 2080 Ti for futureproof a month before this 499$ RTX 3070 that's supposedly on pair with it.

I'd say only things in a computer that you can future-proof are storage and monitor.

Princess Luna got a reaction from KayBuildsPCs in NVME or SSD as boot & Scratch disk ?
Windows on its own does not benefit from NVMe at all over going SATA 3, so I'd actually use the SATA 3 for boot and only use the NVMe for the actual professional workloads.

Both are garbage, if you're on an extremely tight budget at least go with the Crucial BX500 since it's the best perfoming/reliable dramless SSD you can buy.

Princess Luna got a reaction from Mister Woof in will cpu increase fps ??
This is incorrect, AC Odyssey and Origins both are very taxing on the CPU, in fact when I play AC Origins I am limited by my i7 8700 before the GTX 1080 Ti is an issue..

OP, whether or not you'll have more fps with a better CPU depends if you're limited by it rather than your GPU, primarily speaking.

Princess Luna got a reaction from Haro in RTX 2080 Super power bottleneck?
Usually related to power it either works or doesn't... then again I cannot think of any OCZ 600W PSU you should be pairing with a 2080 Super.

Your fps could be broken due to drivers likely, DDU in safe mode and reinstall drivers fresh new.
