Isn't this called zero-rating and against what net neutrality all about?

gligoran got a reaction from NeatSquidYT in Google Nexus 6
Great review guys! I have a Nexus 5 and was really unimpressed when I learned about Nexus 6.
I did notice something that seemed strange:
I do think, that's 720p@120hz. Someone forgot to change what they copy/pasted

gligoran got a reaction from flibberdipper in 10 Tech Products That We Lost in 2014 :'(
You can buy an 128GB iPhone 6. It'll cost you an arm and a leg, but it's out there.
It didn't get deleted, the author pulled it as he couldn't take amount of hate-mail he was getting on the account that the game was so hard. I've read a good interview with the developer Dong Nguyen back then. I'm not sure, but I think this is it: http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/news/the-flight-of-the-birdman-flappy-bird-creator-dong-nguyen-speaks-out-20140311
From AnandTech: "The 120 and 250GB drives use the smallest PCB, while the other drives [750GB and 1TB] use the larger layout."

gligoran got a reaction from Colonel_Gerdauf in A Microsoft Employee Wrote an interesting Corporate Blog Post..
Being around one and actually in one are very different things. I don't have any use for Outlook at home whatsoever. Gmail is far superior for my personal needs. But when it comes to a corporate environment, Outlooks just blows it out of the water. Scheduling meetings with built-in room-reservations, shared IMAP inboxes that multiple people use (think support@somecompany.com type emails), etc. And I was not a very advanced Outlook user. It's just a completely different use case than Gmail.

gligoran got a reaction from killertek78 in Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury
Cool review, but seeing it just makes me wish there was a wireless edition of the G502. I have the G602 and it's quite good, but I'd rather have a better scroll wheel and I don't need 6 buttons on the side.

gligoran reacted to Midnight Robot in What is a good 1080p/1200p IPS display, that isn't too expensive?
I bought two of those but I haven't set them up on a PC yet because mine isn't done being built. I tried them on an xbox one and they looked really nice, and they have a lot of good reviews. From what I've heard the 8-bit true vs 6bit + FRC is so well implemented that it's hard to tell the difference, so unless you're a pro I wouldn't worry about it. It took me almost a week worth of research and an impulse buy because of a sale, but I'm glad because they look fantastic and the colours look really nice too.
One thing I have heard though is that you will need to load the proper colour profile to get the full sRGB range if you are running Nvidia cards. Check out the TFT Central review on this monitor if you want a really in depth review, it also addresses the Nvidia issue. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2414h.htm

gligoran reacted to GzeroD in AMD Mantle Investigation
Mantel is an API built to reduce the required interactions with the CPU meaning the CPU can be working with other things and you will still get killer frames, if the CPU had more than enough time to respond to everything the video card was asking for in the first place you will see no improvement. In theory It allows CPU to focus on tasks that they couldn't before because they needed to be ready to tell the GPU what to do or your frame rate would crash.

gligoran reacted to LinusTech in Steam In Home Streaming - Everything you Need to Know
NCIX: N/A
Amazon: N/A
Steam In Home Streaming is one of the most revolutionary things to come along in a while, but for some reason there doesn't seem to be enough buzz about it, so I took it upon myself to really dive into the capabilities of this exciting new technology and here's the result.
