No, if your gonna consider spending less on the CPU, go for Ryzen 5 1600, way better.

Also, just a heads up. I'd swap the MSI Armor card because it has no backplate and mediocre cooling. Based on your selection of parts, I can see that you want a nice looking build so I reccomend changing the GPU to another GTX 1070 like MSI Duke, Asus Strix, MSI Gaming X or an EVGA card, just make sure it has a backplate.

As far as I know, Gigabyte AB350N-GAMING-WIFI ITX is the cheapest and most reliable motherboard that supports Ryzen.

A 1050ti should be good then seeing as you only have a single 6 pin (Do try to remember to quote or mention us with an @ tag so we get a notification).

What is the PSU and your budget? A 1050/ti or RX 550/560 could be good.

His case only supports up to 240mm radiator and the H115i is 280mm.

You don't have to take the case fans out.

chris76816 reacted to LogicalDrm in Which way should case fans face?
You only need to take fans out if you are moving them around or changing them. They don't block anything you would need to connect.

I would spend less on a CPU, get something like r5 1400, and spend more on a GPU, something like gtx 1060 (depending on the prices of GPUs in your country). Because r5 1400 with 1060 would give you better gaming performance than r5 1600 with 1050 Ti. GPU is a lot more important in games than the CPU and 1060 is a lot faster than 1050 ti IMO

If you can stretch the budget a few dollars. Get the Ryzen 5 1600.

chris76816 reacted to FrowningHippo in 4 gb usable out of 8gb
Weird question, but are you perhaps mistakingly trying to install a 32-bit version of Windows? Because that can't handle more then 4GB
Edit: if that screenshot is from your system then it seems you have 64-bit installed and my remark makes no sense. If this is the case, please make sure that all bios settings are reverted to default. If this is done and it's still not usable I suspect your new Motherboard automaticly assigns the RAM to a on-board GPU. We got to love the Windows Vista/Windows 7 era. Time to getting digging through your settings and catch-up on reading this: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/tmulcahy/2009/02/11/windows-and-video-memory/

Looks fine, I reccomend changing the case to a micro atx one because a matx motherboard plus a small gpu wont look that good in a big atx case. Maybe change to a Fractal Design Define Mini C.
