Sparkko got a reaction from Mike Soda in Urban Armor Gear VS Spigen Tough Armor
I've had a Spigen Tough Armor case on my Galaxy S5 for a little over a year now. It's the best phone phone case I've ever purchased. Will buy another to replace it eventually.

That is one hot little chip.

No, Wait for the 1060 or get a RX 480.

Sparkko got a reaction from Jack Dvorak in 6800k
I bought a 6800k for my new build and have yet to push it over 30% usage. This thing is an absolute monster compared to my old FX-8320. I have mine overclocked to 4ghz with no voltage tweaks.

I'd wait to see how the 1060 is then decide then, if the 1060 is good get it if not the 390 seems better than the 480 but not by so much that it's price won't come down, however I feel like nvidia skipped a generation so the 1060 will likely be better than a 970/390 key word likely.

I see. I'll probably go with the Seagate. I doubt $38 more is worth it for the WD.

Sparkko got a reaction from Suika in An analogy. Buying a 1080 is like buying a muscle or tuner car with a sealed engine compartment.
Everyone knows that adding a stick on spoiler and body kit adds at least 150 horsepower.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Sparkko got a reaction from hex4 in AMD ZEN, help us all see where it will sit please.
Probably right around Haswell with single thread performance, but might beat it in multi-threaded performance. It's really anyone's guess at this point. We won't know for sure until it launches.

Sparkko got a reaction from Cheddle in I'm patiently sitting and staring at a computer screen blankly while waiting for Broadwell-e to launch.
I do a lot of video editing/photoshop so I prefer the extra cores. Also the 5820k is only slightly slower in games than the 6700k, heck it even beats it in some games that are more CPU bound, I figure the 6800k will fill the IPC gap a little better. hoping anyway....
