    I like collecting video games, it's fun!
    The overall Xeno meta series is my favorite video game series, with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 being my favorite game of all time. Ace Combat 5 and Va-11 Hall-A are close seconds.

    I also like building and working on PCs, not to the extent I used to, but I still find it fun from time to time.

    My job has Razer Blackwidow keyboards at work.  I now understand why people say Razer keyboards are dog shit.

     

    How in the HELL does a keyboard doubleclick?  Cause this one does.  You hit the 2/@ key?  Good chance you'll get @@ or 22 instead of just one.  This is happening to everyone here at work too.

      Switched back to a Dell membrane keyboard and I like it so much more than the mechanical one.

      imo no the butterfly is just so irritating because its like nothing to press and register a key stroke.

      I used a 2019 macbook pro 13in for 2 years for a photo class that keyboard was just not fun.

    The images with the lighting don't do it justice, the lighting actually gives it a very subtle orange glow that really goes with the wood on the front, makes it look super clean!     Finally got the Fractal Design North, and let me tell you, this case is freaking awesome!  Best case I've ever owned or built in, it's 100% worth the money.  My next upgrades will eventually be a new boot drive and PSU, but as of right now, they're still trucking along perfectly.  I'll just grab those on sale.

     

    (Also as you can tell from my backgrounds, I really like the Xeno series, and as you can tell from the shelves, I might like Godzilla)

      They’re really nice cases.  Just helped my bf with his new case, he got a Meshify C Mini, also really nice.

    I beat Xenogears on my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, my bf backed up my save data and moved it over to my PS1 memory card.
    Tested out the copy of Xenogears I got today, since that game is expensive AF and I wanted to make sure it worked, and my save data shows up!  That's so dope.

      It’s a game Tetsuya Takahashi wants to return to at some point in his life, but it seems square is content with just leaving it dead.

    I have acquired the PSU for my mom's computer.  Corsair CX750M.  It was on sale at Best Buy.

     

    Also found a CIB, basically pristine, copy of Xenogears on PS1 at my LGS, had to grab it.

    The first parts of my mom’s new PC got here. Almost tempted to just use the stock cooler for now until I do eventually upgrade her to a K sku CPU (talking a couple years down the line). It’s a 12400F, like the only intel CPU that isn’t a nuclear reactor afaik. But also, been a hot minute since I built with an ATX board, forgot how big they are. My last few builds have all been Micro ATX or ITX

    TM30 is $7.99, XTM50 is $14.99, and XTM70 $19.99. My local BB doesn't sell any other brands of thermal paste in store.

    I need some new thermal paste by this weekend. I live in the middle of nowhere so Amazon doesn't have same day or one day shipping out here, and while it offers "two day shipping," it takes them a couple of days to ship my stuff anyways. My local Best Buy sells Corsair thermal pastes though. TM30, XTM50, and XTM70. All different prices. I've heard XTM70 is pretty good actually, but how about TM30 or XTM50? I'll be needing it for CPU and repasting a GPU, I won't be overclocking. Are all of them pretty decent or should I just pay the extra for the XTM70?

      Yeah, we had perfectly serviceable computers before this with 8th gen i7s, 16GB of ram, and low end RTX quadros.  We did not need an upgrade for what we do, but they went about it anyways lmao

    Actually for most people, it does. I like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but outside of say, Spider-Man 2 and GoW Ragnarok, and Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5, what reason is there really to buy either of them? Meanwhile there’s like 100 reasons to buy a Switch when counting exclusives. Now granted with Xbox you can just play their games on PC, but the average consumer doesn’t care about that. Exclusives give people incentives to buy a console cause its games are experiences you can’t find anywhere else.
