Just sayin', but it's all a lie! It's not 0 decibels, because of convection so there's some air rubbing against other air therefore there is noise and it's all lies and illuminati is confirmed!

On June 28, 2016 the Linus Media Group domain registrar account was compromised.
 
The exact methodology of the "hack" won't be disclosed for obvious reasons, but I can assure you that despite any claims to the contrary, the appropriate safeguards were in place on our side, and as I type this Yvonne is having a very heated phone discussion with the 3rd party responsible for the breach.
 
Anyway, the thing most of you are probably wondering about right now is what this means for your forum account or personal information, and the answer is very simple:
 
NOTHING.
 
The "hacker" simply changed the DNS settings in the dashboard and did not at any time have access to the linustechtips.com server. Any claims of a database dump are categorically false.
 
The compromised accounts - including Twitter - have been restored.
 
I hope this clears things up.

i got my pi 3 B last month and honestly im now more annoyed to use due to a few reasons but mainly bec im still a new to linux and have no idea how to do most of the things.
For the touch screen i was gonna buy also but for now delayed it and will try to use my old asus phonetab 7 as a screen.
Havent used it on battery yet but it runs fine external hdd with 2A charger so it doesnt use those 2.5A all the time for sure. (this is more to ensure enough power for all usbs and the wifi and bluetooth (have no idea how much the official screen consumes so i may talk bullshits now))
I bought it mostly for the opportunity to make cool little portable kali linux hacking machine and second  - badass tablet with multi OSs and from the small tests i made so far with different things i can say that it will work - so yeah for me is worth
Just dont have the patience to deal with it now

As for the build, yes its kinda dead. I have a week left of uni and plan to get onto this build in the holidays. Going to have to get some metal parts fabricated due to not having access to a workshop anymore to do it myself. There is big ideas for this but I just haven't had the time. The case is sitting next to my table gathering dust, poor 970's. I'm not leaving it just yet but watercooling this thing is gonna cost $$ which I dont have atm. Thanks for your concern guys

A 6600 (k if you want to overclock) would be the dream. otherwise a 6500 is also as good just with no k and less clock speeds. They both are pretty close cost wise to the 8350. But you also need a new motherboard and get a cheap one. and ddr4 memory.

Go a little high and maybe they will try to bring you down to what is acceptable for them. Go too low and they get a cheaper worker.
