Anyways now a serious answer, the vast vast majority wont utilize more than 4 cores and even if they did most of the time 4 faster clocked cores will be better for gaming than 8 slower cores which is why the 7700k is still the best for fps in games.

EVGA is also good when it comes to robust vrm design it is such a neglected thing when it comes to motherboards bu is so nice especially when you are a serious overclocker.

6700kK7700K and as much GPU as you can afford.  You'll have a very near top of the line machine.

You can put a k series chip in the h370 motherboards however you wont be able to overclock and the extra 100mhz is not worth the money you will pay for the 8700k so I would suggest the 8700 if you are sold on an h370 motherboard. I would highly recommend a larger coooler than the nh-l9i as if there isnt fantastic airflow in your case you will probably thermal throttle when under continuous load. Only use it if you are going to use a case that cant fit anything bigger and you care more about the aesthetics of the case than performance.

It would be about the same performance as thunderbolt 3 but much less convenient if you want it to be portable.

Get worse overtime no actually the opposite if they are not disturbed(ie scratched further) dust will collect in them and cause them to appear smaller.... Until you clean it that is.

I cant recommend a build with a gpu(assuming you are buying things new) because with a $600 budget you might be able to get a gt 1030 but you will have a much worse cpu so I would recommend the apu and save up to then get a gpu.

I miss dual gpu cards, the 295x2, gtx 690, titan z they were just the essence of enthusiast and so awe inspiring when you saw someone have a new build with one.

I saw titan z on ebay but it goes for atleast 800eur  that's way too much considering it's aint faster than r9 295x2 and it doesn;t even have liquid cooling, i wouldn't mind titan z if it atleast cost 400eur,just because titan brand, in perfectly cooled case it won't throttle

Assuming he gets the pump fixed and you have proof of it working I would offer like 350eur just because I think that its actually only worth about 300 considering its age and power efficiency compared to new cards but its worth a little more because of the collectability of the card.

I have a corsair rm1000i Its fantastic even though its totally overkill for the parts I have now. Why are you getting rid of the rm850x is a fantastic power supply?

try clearing your cmos and see if that fixes it. To clear your cmos unplug the computer, take the battery out of your motherboard and leave it out for a few minutes then put it back in and start the computer up. Best of luck.

Are you going to be using the PC just for gaming or do you have other interests because if you do say watch movies or listen to music I would definitely recommend the sennheiser 598s(or HD6xx if massdrop is offering them because they are better and about the same price) because they will 100% have better sound then any gaming headset on the market however they will have worse positional audio which can effect your gameplay depending on what you are playing. For wireless headphones I do think the hyperx cloud flights are probably the best for a combination of comfort(they are fairly light) as well as build quality and sound for a decent price. Also I dont recommend getting a blue yeti as a mic because the background noise is atrocious on those, I would recommend getting an audio technica AT2020 or the cheaper atr2500 both come in usb options as well as XLR and are better mics.

You could use the boom arm for the mics I recommended as well. It is hard to say how much better the positional audio will be as it varies from game to game. Say in a game like fortnite where positional audio is important some people will refuse to use something like the 598s and go for a multi driver headset instead, I personally dont think its important enough to not use my senhheisers. Also you dont need a dac/amp for the 598s or any other headphone its just to get them louder and have better sound quality but you can just plug them right into your computer no issue as well. 

Yeah getting a pop filter is always good.

I have an AT2020 myself and love it because of good sound quality and it basically doesnt pick up any background noise, the at2035 just has a bit better sound quality so it is my recommendation until you start spending near $1000 then Shure has some really nice mics that I would recommend. 

Those temps are perfectly fine. You dont need to worry at all. If you are in the high 80s or 90s thats when you should start looking at lowering the clocks. Or if your vrms are over 100 Celsius
