I am particularly interested in hearing the opinions and views of people from the USA. :) 

Original port would be the port that people access from the outside. Internal port is normally the same. Forward to address is the IP of your server. Make sure you have the setting about firewall exception and nat marked in the router (on the wizard page).
To get it to work make sure you forward all the ports that are needed and that the firewall on the server isn't blocking it.

I know how to host a server for minecraft, you can probably run that on your PC, it requires Port Forwarding your router if you want people all over the internet to join though, but it's overall pretty easy, if you want any help with it, there are hundreds of tutorials on youtube on how to port forward and set up your server, i did it many times and it works fine, you'll have to allocate more memory to the server if you want more players, but you can find that on youtube too

You could set up VNC to remote access it (thats what I use for my 7 servers). The system will be sufficent for those servers, yes you can host multiple servers from 1 computer.

Nvm... Managed, the crimpers are just a bit out of position.

I've tried out a G502, and coming from an MS-3 (how convenient) it's way smaller. You almost are grabbing it, as opposed to with the MS-3 you're sort of resting your hand on it. If you know one or the other fits your hand well, go with that one.
 
And if the software side of things sways you, Func's software is probably just as good as logitechs software.

You mean with regards to the internet connection? Should not make a difference
AFAIK (assuming you're just using a simple non-managed switch). The router should
not prioritize PCs unless you explicitly tell it to do so (assuming it has that
capability). And the switch should just, well, switch.
You might see different speeds from PC to PC (PC -> switch -> router -> PC vs.
PC -> switch -> PC) since the integrated switch inside the router might not
perform identically to the dedicated switch, but that's a different problem
(and probably not a big one). At least AFAIK.

The modem depends on your connection with your ISP, Virgin Media uses COAX if I'm not mistaken. They should supply the modem. They will probably try to install a combo unit, do not let them, ask for the modem only version.
 
QoS is not recommended, as it can introduce extra latency and often doesn't work correctly. With a 120Mbps connection, you shouldn't need QoS in the first place.

I am a uni student. My budget is fluid, I should be able to get a good amount of work over summer, and I am possibly getting a scholarship next year. I would like some wireless, like you said, for mobiles.
 
Its a rented house, so I'll probably have to run wires around the edge of carpet, unless I can get permission to drill holes. (Doubt it.) And the house is old, so power line probably won't work. There will be a minimum of 5 different places that need a connection.

Slick, what are you doing?

i have a gd65 and its a great board, however its installed in my system and ive worked so hard a cable management that im not willing to take it off to take a picture. look and video reviews on the web and see if you can get a good view of the back.

So on the Live Stream week before last, I think, Slick brought up how geeks don't really come together that often anymore and that LAN parties are becoming less frequent due to the rise in online gaming.
 
So I was wondering would you guys be willing to travel to Canada or the USA for a LTT LAN Party? (The USA probably makes more sense, because international flights there are SO much cheaper.) 
 
If so, what sorta stuff would you like to see? What games? Ect.

I do get that to an extent it would depend on the time year due to peoples work and schooling, but in theory.

Ultimate is like a gimmick. 
 
Anything in Ultimate you can do in Pro. it just takes some "Fanagaling".

I own a pair of these too, totally agree with that review, they do my my ears hot, but the sound quality is AWESOME. I have the straight cable version, and yeah. Its a REALLY long cable.
