Please do an episode where you build a PC where you keep getting electrostatically charged and just touching and doing the build to see if there would actually be any damage done. 
 
So put a carpet on the floor, wear synthetic clothing, walk around a bunch in the process of assembling a PC. 
 
This would be a very interesting episode.

Thank you very much guys I have learned quite a good bit here. Im going to be taking a look at the 6800k, and thinking about it. It seems what i'm looking for in an upgrade.

I've brought lots of things from G2A, never had an issue. If you buy an OEM windows 7 or 8 and upgrade to 10 you can keep upgrade your hardware, but you will have to contact Microsoft support though, but it isn't that hard.

OEM keys are used for PC builders who don't think their customs will change their hardware and OEM's are also used by Dell, HP, etc. You could try G2A for a cheapish full windows 7 key. You'll be fine with a OEM key if you upgrade to windows 10, if you upgrade your mobo on windows 10 from an OEM key Microsoft will continue to let you use windows 10.

If you have a display that can make use of the performance increase I would say go for it, bit usually I don't recommend upgrading a GPU unless you will be getting gains of over 60%.

Upgrading from a 980 to 980ti don't really make much sense.

No, it won't prevent you from using SLI. A lot of people have an SSD (even 3 SSD's) and running 3 GPU's in their system. That SSD uses the SATA port so I doubt it'll be eating up your PCI-E lanes.

It offers 27", 144Hz, 1ms response and Gsync. The price is kinda steep though.

I'm not infatuated with the possibility of some completely random build being bottlenecked, I know very well it isn't; I've known since the first four replies. I realized way earlier that the title could've been better, but I can't change it now - but in reality, it's just a title, I posted this thread so that everyone could focus on all the parts and how strange a match some of them were, the three I mentioned being some of the strangest.
 
You're focused on the fact that I placed the word bottlenecked in the title that, again, I can't change now. This is why you missed the point.

I don't know about the pricing as to which would actually be a better deal but yes you can buy a windows 7 key now and upgrade, you can for the next 362 days.  Remember though you need to upgrade to Windows 10 before you do a clean install.  EDIT: According to a Microsoft tech I spoke with you are not able to clean install even after upgrading, although I have done it has it has worked at least once.

You can upgrade on pc's that are already activated or use an unused key if you want to clean install.

ram speed doesnt really matter much in games
 
although if you are doing virutal machines then faster ram will help a lot
