Hello everyone, recently i was reading the SLI guide at the top of this forum, and while reading it i saw this "SSDs in the M.2 format do not use up PCI/e lanes from the CPU, so don't worry about that." Im going to be using a samsung 850 evo 250 gb ssd, and i was wondering if that would prevent me from using SLI in the future. The cpu i'll be using is an i7-4790K. Any help is very welcome^^

No, it won't prevent you from using SLI. A lot of people have an SSD (even 3 SSD's) and running 3 GPU's in their system. That SSD uses the SATA port so I doubt it'll be eating up your PCI-E lanes.
