She doesn't need a $1500 Build for real estate, even if you want it to last a long time, just get an i7 4790 + 16gb ram and 750ti. Your (mum is) set.

Dr_Curry_MONSTER reacted to Nico559 in Noctua ; RMA. Why I love this company.
A month ago, one of my Noctua 140mm radiator fans stopped spinning out of the blue.  I tossed it, in my box of dead electronics and moved on, until I recently became irritated by the Corsair fans I've been using, prompting me to check up on the possibility of a replacement.  I wasn't expecting this response.

I contacted the company via email with a screenshot of my receipt from Amazon and 13 minutes later, they replied.

I was so impressed.  Good for you, Noctua.  A $27 fan, replaced without question. 13 minute response and product shipped the next day.  You couldn't ask for better service. Outstanding.

I will, without a doubt remain a long time loyal customer.  Posted this simply because I was impressed by how quickly they're handling this.  If you're considering a company that backs its products up, consider Noctua.

Yea that looks about right but US pricing is so much lower than here. The graphics cards alone in AU are about $1100 each lol

So my rough estimate is that everything is worth about $6000-$7000 AUD but then you have all the custom work that was done on it too

And it's all good posting that man, no worries

    Hi guys!

I have some fancy looking SLI bridges to showcase today! You may have seen the Gigabyte one in the previous update

That's the one I'm using in this system however I have the Nvidia and ASUS ones as well and thought it'd be good to do a comparison photo shoot. Which one do you like best?

I think it does depend on what brands you prefer as well and also the theme of your build. I'll be slightly modding the Gigabyte one with a white Gigabyte Eye logo instead of the blue.

Also the cables from Icemodz are incredible as always. Check out those closed combs, awesome!

My Little farm is only 2 PCs for now. The First is a HP Z800 Workstation with 2 Intel Xeon X5672 3.20GHz quad core hyperthreaded cpus, 24GB of DDR3-1333 ECC Registered memory, and a Reference GTX 970. This one is Running full bore when I'm not using it and it gets an average of 235802 ppd.
The Second is running light because its my HTPC/NAS so I don't want to overwork it while we are trying to watch movies or stream stuff. Its a Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, Gigabyte GA-P43-ES3G Motherboard with a Xeon X5450 3GHz quad core cpu, 8GB of DDR2-667 memory and a Asus Radeon HD-7790 2GB Graphics card. This one is only averaging 2680 ppd because I have it on the lowest setting because its pretty much used 24/7 for other things.

I plan om adding more eventually.

extra tip: I assume you're talking about CS:GO. There's like a 24/7 broadcast running Twitch from ESL_CSGO. They do reruns all day long and a live game every now and then.
