FishTea got a reaction from 8uhbbhu8 in [Update] Security flaws discovered in AMD zen processors : AMD's meltdown?
As scary as it sounds. THis sounds like Intel IME kind of exploit.

FishTea reacted to Lord Nicoll in AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 leaked benchmarks: GTX 1070 killer
The RX Vega chips are more powerful then the Frontier edition, have better power management and also better drivers, so it's understandable you'd see a possible like 15% perofrmnace boost, which would bring them up to GTX 1070 for the 56 and GTX 1080 level for the 64, but they would use more power.

FishTea got a reaction from coconuts4eva in Vega memory spillover
I think AMD made a specific controller for that called HBCC so that you can virtually have a very big memory so you can offload all data set in that storage.

FishTea got a reaction from Lurick in Will AMD Vega be good for mining?
iirc. some Coins do not like high latency memory so HBM is a big nono for miners and plus that high power consumption. I think its safe to say that Vega "for now" can be safe from miners not unless new coin will appear for Vega.

The 799$ 12-core TR have a base clock of 3.5Ghz. Knowing how hot and power hungry i9's are these are Intel's only option to put the temperature under control.

VME is addressed in the AGESA1006 irrc. The CCX is latency is just an overblown issue which in fact make little to no impact on the system especially when you're a content creator. you're just doing a suicide watch at this point.
Please stop for the sake of your sanity. its getting dumber and dumber at this point/
