I will have a closer look later. It is a price step up, but given the total of everything so far isn't insignificant, I'll have to weigh what it brings for the cost.
For me, the extra rear I/O, s/pdif audio port (which isnt for everyone), EZ-DEBUG code display rather than an led or lack of anything and the bonus of a USB 4.0 port really sold me.

The Fractal Meshify 2 Compact and the Fractal north are similar within the interior, but the torrent compact is distinctly unique. All of them are technically different and dont reshare a lot of tooling/parts.
SpoilerThe same is true for the Meshify 2, North XL and the Torrent (the case i technically have)

Need:
ATX mobo - should have 2.5gbe included, wifi nice extra but not essential. PCIe 5.0 support for GPU preferred (requires "Extreme" chipset?). More M.2 slots better.
I built a 7800x3D and RTX 4080 build in January and had similar thoughts (a big focus for me being on rear I/O). May I recommend...
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/R226Mp/asrock-b650e-taichi-lite-eatx-am5-motherboard-b650e-taichi-litePrice wise, this board made the most sense to me for all the featrues it has (or rather, that every single other board lacks (its actually cheaper now than when I bought it)
For added context, I ended up with the Deepcool AK620 cooler mainly for aesthetic reasons over a cheaper but still performance option like the thermalrite's. I imagine it would work great.
And before you ask what case I got... -

I loved the single A12x25 I bought for my CPU cooler, but no one can deny the extreme value the P12's bring to the table. I'm super impressed with their quality for what you pay per fan, and cant think of any better bulk fan purchase a user could make to improve their airflow for the value.

Could you possibly get a smaller case. I want one as small as possible (sff). Thats why I did't get an atx psu. Maybe I could get a case that supports a flex psu. could you recommend a good flex psu? they are expensive though....
Small, cheap and reliable; You can get two out of three, but never all three equally. You will always sacrifice one for the other two. If small and cheap are your most important factors, then your build you currently have meets those criteria.
Personally I would give up some size for more reliable parts.

I’m using cura too and it shows as the same, but in the printer when printed the lines don’t connect
Have you set the nozzle height (Z offset)?
All of these symptoms suggest that your nozzle is too far from the bed and isnt pushing enough of the filament into the bed itself.Spoiler -

We seem to be forgetting the existence of open bench PCs.....
I run my HTPC (8700k/3060ti) ziptied to a pegboard. It runs perfectly. Heck, I even curved my fans so that they don't spin up 99% of the time I'm using it.Well since this is an already enclosed case, this isnt as relevant of a point...

Can i use my computer with no fans and no side panel?
My workstation PC at work has a single tower cooler and a very slow spinning and small rear exhaust fan with no other intakes or exhaust. The computer still functions just fine and does not overheat, especially at idle.
Parts are also designed to throttle and shut themselves down well before they start melting.

The LTT screwdriver does not come with a 4.5 or 5 hex head adapter, but most cases these days come with standoff screw adapters for a philips head.

plan on upgrading to either 4080 or 4090 in the future (I think the ROG Strix would be a good reference for future GPU)
My question is will the NV5 have enough space to fit either of these graphics card?Well... Uh....
Yeah I'd say so

What could be causing that? I had to go back to Windows 10 for better performance but I'd much rather use Windows 11.
Are you really going to base your entire conclusion off of one test?
Geekbench is unreliable at best. Add software like blender to your list of benchmarks for a better overall look at performance.

Not sure why this was moved from Tech News to Audio by the mods (I'm new here) but I feel like this isn't being covered anywhere and is way bigger than HyperX are letting on.
This does not comply with Tech News Guidelines, namely;

@TVwazhere still rockin' the 4790k/1080ti? and what do you think of my custom desk plan?
Oh I Upgraded in January but I haven't updated my signature until I write the blog (and I've bene really slow on that)
Personally the only thing I'd change is switching out the surge protector for a UPS. Admittedly more expensive, but it protects your PC from blackouts / brown outs, and "smart" ones can safely shut down your pc if the battery runs out so you don't end up with any corrupt files or data.

This is a bit over budget at $125, but this is what I have at work:
https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Monitor-Adjustable-Displays-MI-2753/dp/B06X9D7JWP
Currently holding a 27" 4k monitor in the middle and two 22-23" 1080P monitors on either side. Has a wide range of height adjustments (good for me because I sit tall at my desk) Highly recommend

None of the dogs I've had have been able to correctly use a bed.
Who are we to tell dogs that they're incorrectly using their bed?
Body and head fully in donut shape? Correct.
Rest only the head on the edge? Correct?
Laying right next to it barely touching it? Also correct.- paddy-stone, soldier_ph and da na

Summary
-This is Not an April Fools Joke-
AT&T, one of the Big Three Cellular Network providers as well as internet to millions of Americans, announced that a dark web database was released containing 7.3M active AT&T users and 65M inactive users. Most concerning is the leak of Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
Quotes
QuoteAT&T revealed over the weekend that the data of 73 million customers, including social security numbers, had been compromised in a data breach—a hack some media outlets state was reported back in 2021.
In a statement posted to its website, AT&T said that a recent data set released on the dark web approximately two weeks ago contained data from its customers. At this time, it’s not clear whether the hackers were able to breach AT&T systems or those belonging to one of its vendors, the company added. The data obtained by the hackers contained social security numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, AT&T account numbers, and AT&T passcodes.SpoilerOf the 73 million people affected, 65.4 million were former AT&T customers. In the case of the 7.6 million current customers, AT&T has automatically reset their passcodes. Passcodes are four-digit codes used by AT&T customers to add an extra layer of security to their accounts, in addition to their passwords, and are presented during some operations such as calling customer service. Customers whose passcodes have been reset have been contacted by AT&T.
My thoughts
First AT&T had the major service outage, and now a massive breach of personal data. While the data is speculated to be from 2021, it is unknown how far back the data extends, so customers who switched form AT&T back in 2018 (Hi, hello, its me) could still be affected. Admittedly I was part of a family plan so my SSN should be safe(r).
As a reminder, using both a 2FA app like Google Authenticator as well as a Password manager are some of the best ways you can protect yourself in the digital world we now live in, which feels almost inevitable that our data will be at some point compromised.
