MrAlexOneill reacted to skullbringer in In the market for a 27" Monitor
Benq XL2720T or its successor the Benq XL2720Z
I have the T version my self, and its awesome. It is a tn panel though, as is any 120Hz monitor, but it offers a lot of customization with colour profiles, emulating different screen sizes, acting as a usb hub, etc.
I'd recommend waiting for a G-Sync version though, if thats a factor for you.
You can check out Linus' unboxing of the 2420TE version, as its a very similar product.

MrAlexOneill reacted to Hans Christian | Teri in Linux just crashed!!
System crashes can happen quite regularly when you really start getting into the guts of Linux, like compiling your own kernel etc. It's generally not something I experience with any OS during regular use though, I run both OS X, Linux (Arch) and Windows 8 and my last system crash was several months ago.

I agree with @Mr.Duck, the blue pcb is a downfall but the since the card is small and meant for Itx enclosures, most of the time you wont be able to see it.

MrAlexOneill reacted to JAKEBAB in 5820k or a 4770k?
Why would they need more PCI lanes unless there doing triple or quads and then in that case if they should be able to afford an extra $200 for a 6 core.
