Well, it depends. Provided you choose the right compatible hardware, it can run even better than a Mac Pro (made one for my friend, runs like a dream)

But yeah, gaming is not something you should be trying to do on a mac/hack intosh. Just don't.

Oops I just submitted this topic myself, let me go delete it.

On an aside note: Aside from Apple liking money, those guidelines were also originally put in place to guard against third-party app stores like Cydia making their way onto the legit App Store.

EDIT - Mods beat me to my own post lol. Sorry about that @Morgan MLGman

I dunno. Nevertheless, I'd rather have a not-super durable accessory over a damaged console.

It's not just Dbrand specifically. The Switch's plastic doesn't like a few chemicals. I've seen damage done to after some did a cool looking mod with paint and even PVA glue.

My school has a BYOD policy, so of course it's almost completely a seas of Macbooks, as far as the eye can see, so when this new kid (me) shos up at the start of the year with something that *GASP*... ISN'T A MACBOOK!!! They instantly go complete elitist snob on me. The only flaw in their plan to mock and shame me was this: They didn't know jack about computers.
(Just FYI my laptop is an Aorus X3, look in my signature)
So for the past 6 weeks...

I've gotten so many of them ask me "what brand is that?" when it says in caps AORUS under the display.

I've had lots of people ask if it's a Razer laptop.

I've had people ask if I built it myself. (Come on people. Laptops are near impossible to build from scratch, and does it look homemade to you?)

I've had lots of people ask how much it cost, and since I've never been a guy who likes to brag and flash expensive things around, I just say "The same price as the highest tier 13" Macbook Pro" (Australian economy) And no one believes that it is that cheap.

Oh, and there was this one guy who said "What generation is your processor?" This got my hopes up; someone like me? Nope. I said "Haswell" He was "Hah! I got Skylake! My laptop's better than yours!" (He had a 13" Macbook Pro, which only ship with dual core i5s max, while my laptop had a quad core i7-4710HQ) I said:
    "What generation is Skylake?"
    "The newest one"
    "Uh huh... What about Haswell?"
*silence, and he just pretends I never existed and goes back to doing his work*

It is stuff like this that leads me to believe the nerd and geek stereotypes portrayed in movies came about because of very tech literate students being put in classes with average joes who just saw technology as magic.

Yes you'lll still need a modem.

"Bridge Mode" is a common feature on lots of ISP-provided modem/router all-in-ones. (Google it)

This makes it just act as a modem, and you use one cat cable to connect it to your pfsense router.

Woah there. You need to learn a thing or two about cpu architecture and compatibility.

While the Asus rampage 5 edition 10 is pretty much the mother of all motherboards, it uses the X99 platform, which is Intel's enthusiast platform, for all their "extreme edition" i7 or Xeon CPUs.

You want to use the i7-7700K, which is the highest end i7 on the Z270 consumer platform.

Asus's equivalent Z270 highest end board is the Asus Maximus IX Hero.

Dude just go with a lga 1151 socket motherboard. That is the only type of board that will work with a 7700K.

You COULD buy the Rampage 5 Edition 10, But you would need to desolder and swap out:

    -The CPU socket
    -The chipset
-The internal circuitry running through the motherboard.
    -Quite a few more things

You do realise you're saying "Why won't this enthusiast board work with my consumer CPU?????"

    You have two choices

If you want an X99 motherboard, you buy an Extreme Edition i7 or a Xeon
If you want an i7-7700K, you buy a Z270 motherboard.

You CAN NOT use these two things together, do you understand?
