How can I protect the back of my Switch?

So I want to protect the back of my switch from getting scuffed up anymore from the dock and I'm out of ideas, a case would make it not fit in the dock and when I went over to Dbrand for a skin they don't sell them anymore because it damages the console, I'm at a loss.

 

PS those may look like oil marks but they aren't. They are scuffs.

 

Also I removed the other pictures because I forgot it had my serial number and everything in the pic

Buy some vinyl and cut it to size

You can get a plastic shell or a case, but because vinyls are a no-go, there's no real protective thing you can put on the back that will still allow you to dock it easily.

Yeah that's the issue, also I just looked and its the dock and my travel case that's scuffing the back, and this is one of the official Nintendo cases.

You could just put something in the dock so it doesn't make direct contact.

Nintendo really overlooked this part of the switch and i'm surprised that there isn't any 3rd party docks or something out there.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

It's not just Dbrand specifically. The Switch's plastic doesn't like a few chemicals. I've seen damage done to after some did a cool looking mod with paint and even PVA glue.

Sadly my travel case would still scuff it, it has to be something on the system itself but I agree, I did see on Gamestops site though a portable dock by Nyko that was supposed to be released yesterday. Doesn't seem to be available anywhere in my area though.

That stand looks neat to me. Much better than the stock version. But a smaller dock isn't that important to me when I need pack my grip and pro controllers in a backpack anyway. If I'm bringing my dock with me, that means I'm gaming on a TV with others.

 

I've only pulled my Switch off and on the dock probably less than a dozen times since launch so mine isn't really damaged yet. If I start seeing issues, I at least know one option now.
