thrasher_565 got a reaction from RevGAM in Custom reservoir
well back then liquid speed was the focuses because evry so much would drop the temps like 1c. but then the jet plate was a huge bottle neck and slowed the flow down but cooled better then the hi flow loops. so that became the norm. so flow speed is not really a problem any more. so people did w/e it takes to get the flow faster and reduce the 90 degrees but didn't want to spend moeny on a 45 so they stuck a spring in the tube heat it up bent it then cooled in ice water to get a tighter bend. later on there were thicker tubeing that could bend more but that was later on.
the pump is a aquacomputer pump they were big and loud from what i heard but i belave the flow was good. the uk was the first to put out water cooling stuff then something happened and then it disaperd...🤷♂️ then thrmaltake kinda got water cooling in the west.
as for whats good mix i dont no.

thrasher_565 got a reaction from em_lab in Coil Whine question
psu and gpus can have coile wine and i think mb can also have it but mostly gpus and psus.
for gpus it gets more loud based on fps more fps the more loud it is. so limting fps can help but suxs to do it. in menus were you get get realy hi fps is were you mostly notic it. cant really fix it other then sell the gpu... you can get a more closed off case but that make it hotter so i dont no.
for psu is cheaper then a gpu in most case and can be replaced and since you got a mish mach psu ied recommend that. but first fined out witch it is.
other thing would be headphones i guess.

thrasher_565 reacted to Yua in Help completing item list for custom loop?
I ordered a 360 x 180 rad for the front and a 280 x 140 rad for the bottom.
While playing cyberpunk with an ambient temperature of 27 °C,. The average CPU temperature was 63 °C, while the GPU temperature was 50°C. It is definitely way quieter, and I am pleased with the looks and performance.
Here is a picture of it.

thrasher_565 reacted to thevictor390 in Old School PCs going on sale for a bargain
I used a Pentium II laptop in 2006 to do all my homework, and run every game I could fit on its 10 GB HDD (Half-Life was the standout). Even watched torrented episodes of Top Gear.
The thing is, nowadays those basic tasks can be done with a Chromebook or iPad, there's not too much use for a desktop computer that can barely do the minimum.

thanks for your answer!
Then i will try 1300 at first if not then I go lower.
The CPU is put together again and has some liquid metal paste between the chip and the die so not direct die cooling and was made professionally.

they been saying that for years if you buy this led you will save moeny for a bit but your power bill will just keep going up. ya we save alot of power els were but also crating new things that use power.
there alot of things that just sux power.
if you really want to save power build an off grid house.

thrasher_565 got a reaction from MAXBattle in Best case for house with cat
if there dust and dirt on the floor it can be sucked in to the pc well on top it just suck w/e in the air. so long you keep the table clean... but a good case with eazy filters would work fine thow i dont keep track of filters on case these days but alot of them sould be fine.
