Ahh right. Well you could get dolphin emulator and play the super mario games. Me and the Mrs do and it's great.

Also if you want something  a little more competitive but still with that charm, there's move or die.
There's no story, it's just quickfire round base part games and it's great. Another one the Mrs likes.
It can't replace rayman or anything, but still good to thrown in the platformer mix.

There's also No Time To explain remastered. I've never played it but it's sat in my library.
Store page says it's split-screen and we are gonna play it some time. Looks fun enough so may be worth checking out.

Thanks soo much, I'll take a look at emulator-based stuff and "move or die" as well, the story part isn't that important as Rayman also does not offer a "deep story"
And I downloaded "Battleblock Theater" yesterday and tried it by myself, looks also really fun, since we played through Origins and with Legends we have only some time-levels left and we really enjoyed this game (although sometimes I have viewport problems on my 21:9, but still really fun game, even for my girlfriend that otherwise isn't too much into videogames).

So once again, thanks to you all!

Can't wait for this phone, after my Bold 9700 -> Bold 9900 -> Torch 9800 -> Z10 -> Q10 -> Z30 -> Passport -> Classic -> Passport it is finally time to switch to android... or is it blackberry again
Really can't wait for this phone, there would be only one thing, which would make it even better, QNX with Android running in a Hypervisor kernel

true, they most likely measure how much it draws during browsing/sitting at desktop.however, the undeniable fact is that if you leave your PC on, with screen saver/turning screen off to go somewhere, the PC will still draw power.
Hell, just letting the pc hibernate draws power.
the equation is pretty simple though...
say the difference between a AMD and Nvidia card is 100w during a gamin session (similar games, similar load on the cards).
If you then set your PC to hibernate, or just turn the screen off at make the PC download torrents overnight... then the difference between AMD and Nvidia changes...
Nvidia draws some power, while AMD is actually 0.03w/hour when screen is off (the card is being pinged by the system occasionally, so there is some draw, its just practially not going to affect your powerbill)...
    So say Nvidia draws 12w/hour it sits in hibernation/screen saver mode.... 8hours x 12w = 96w...
So in ONE night, the realistic difference would be down to 4w
Now, say the difference in TDP of AMD and Nvidia cards were litterally 4w... would you argue that Nvidia being 4w more power efficient would matter at all? Do you think 4w would break the bank in any substantial way during the lifespan of the GPU (3-4 years)

The downgrade pissed me off at first but I realise it had to be done to stay in budget to make the game for all systems, and now after launch they're patching in alot of the missed elements and mods fix the lighting. When I opened the Collector's Edition everything inside seemed to show great care put into it and the game feels the same.

As like before I have to disagree with you on something but this time I won't let you get me banned.  Linus has not behaved/acted the same throughout LMGs history.  I have been around long enough to know this.  I have had to cringe at times over the last year at how he has acted at times and I think he is a social media addict now which makes things worse at times.  It is clear he has made more people more upset than in previous years that is for sure.

I have to admit I did laugh at that ending because people expect Linus to drop something as he can be clumsy if you have followed him closely and seen loads of his content. Still I think he is starting to rub many people the wrong way and it is showing in replies to his posts on social media and in response to videos.

delanyinspiron6400 reacted to Warcony in Nvidia Q1 2016 results shows GPU sales up 14 per cent
I feel like I say this a lot, but people seem to need it to be repeated. There are two reasons behind why  a product/service does well:

    1. It is cheaper
    2. It offers a better experience -  in this case the market has decided that Nvidia offers a better "experience" with their gpus (think GSync + Shield Streaming, AA tech, runs cooler, lower power consumption, Shadowplay)*.

Depending on the type of product/service offered and/or the type of buyer one of the two reasons is more heavily weighted. For a business, #1 is the most important, but for consumers often #2 is the most important.

*Note: I know AMD offers similar things with their GPUs, but maybe Nvidia's version is a "better experience."

Do kids like you ever consider that Nvidia sells well because they actually make a good product and that marketing actually lets people know their product still exist and are new? That people know Nvidia makes stuff? Nah, you don't consider that.
Price to performance is far from the only metric used to buy products, BTW. You'll learn that when you grow up.

I didn't even have to buy it at full price on GOG. They gave me a discount because I owned the other 2 games... on Steam.

I actually got DRM-free versions of tw1 and 2 for free on GOG because I owned them on steam, and then I got a discount because of that on TW3.

CDPR is a really awesome company, and they deserve that 100% cut from the witcher 3. I don't see what steam features I wouldn't be able to get by just adding it as a non-steam game, it's not like it has Co-op or MP and I need steam for easy invites. Don't get me wrong, I like steam as a platform, but in some cases it doesn't really add anything.
