I'd love to see a Season 5.
I spoilt myself by binge watching all the others.

CM7 reacted to AshleyAshes in A few questions about a kodi server
Kodi doesn't have any sort of offline download function like Plex. Kodi's focus has been more on playback of local files or files on the LAN in a NAS exclusively. Even online streaming has been a secondary function despite it's popularity with third party pirate streaming add on developers. For more advanced networking features like streaming from your server to remote clients, or offline downloading, Plex is the better animal by a good margin..

CM7 reacted to mariushm in 50W+50W Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 amp power supply
The 50w + 50w is absolute maximums, with lots of distortion .. here's the specs for genuine chips (can't be sure those boards have genuine chips) :
From datasheet: http://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/datasheet/f4/3e/da/a3/97/e7/4f/8d/CD00205863.pdf/files/CD00205863.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00205863.pdf
* 50 W + 50 W continuous output power at THD = 10% with RL = 6 and VCC = 25 V
* 40 W + 40 W continuous output power at THD = 10% with RL = 8 and VCC = 25 V
At 1% THD, the maximum power is around 32W per channel with 8 ohm speakers at 25v DC input.
In the datasheet, see Figure 4.1 .. the maximum power varies with the input voltage, and the graph only shows output from 15v input, but you can see from the graph that at 15v if you want distortions to the 1% or less, the maximum power will be around 15 watts.
In the same datasheet at 3.3 electrical specifications, you can see the minimum voltage listed as 8v DC, so the amplifier can probably work with 13.8v DC. With just 1A of current, it means the amplifier will receive about 14w (13.8v x 1A = 13.8w) and the amplifier is about 90% efficient, which means about 11-12 watts will be available for actual sound. This means at most you'd get about 5-6w per speaker with that amplifier, so it will work as long as you don't raise the volume much.

Tin foil hat retarded is not an argument.
They may not always be implementing it according to the constitution, but free speech is in there and Americans generally accept it as a universal thing and readily push back against government censorship.
Another non-argument.
Canada lists free speech in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but it also adds a clause that lets the government pass laws limiting free speech whenever it deems it to be "reasonable". There are plenty of examples of writers, comedians, political dissenters, etc being fined and jailed for saying the wrong thing. Free speech is similarly limited in other western countries. Western democracies only allow it so far as it is not disruptive. What planet are you living on that you don't see this pattern?
here is a very recent example in the EU of mass internet censorship:

Seriously? So you think that I am an elitist because I like that the US has very strong free speech protections? I think you might have something stuck up your rear end, you should go see a doctor.
Free speech is being eroded and you want to talk about American elitism with a Canadian? Wow...

Sorry, but they do. And one video about police brutality doesn't prove otherwise. Even now, the US federal government being the authoritarian behemoth that it is, the people are still more free to express unpopular or politically incorrect ideas compared to everywhere else (I mean, OK I admit I don't know the details of every country on earth, so maybe there are a few very small countries that do a better job). For sure the US has better legal protections than Canada, France, UK, and the whole of the EU. Nevermind China, Russia, and all of the middle-eastern nations.
And please don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying Canada is censoring like crazy - they're not. It's actually not bad in terms of free speech. But we do regularly fine and/or jail people for saying something offensive.

Let's not take this video out of context, this was a topic in my communications class my freshmen year in college.
They weren't arrested for dancing or kissing, they were arrested for demonstrating at the memorial without a permit which they continually did to protest the arrests of people who organized a flash mob in the memorial. Of course the video has it's own agenda and won't show you the whole story, it just shows the part where they're finally being arrested.

Oh man that is the same situation I am in. I am annoyed by the fact that so many people on my friends list blindly believe everything they hear on the news and post it all over Facebook. I stay informed for the purpose of self preservation. In other words, if things go bad, and they will eventually, I want to be able to get out in time......all I know is, this government is completely corrupt and can't be trusted, and the people who allow it to happen are just as guilty.
I know this is a little off topic but I had to get that off my chest.

CM7 reacted to Atmos in Trump: Internet control belongs to US. Period
whether he knows what dns or url is, is irrelevant.
He understands though that handing control of the internet to countries who strictly censor anything anti-government, or anytbing they feel harmful, is quite possibly the worst decision the us can make.
I am, for once, in 100% agreement with trump.
Unless this is stopped, we can all kiss the internets freedom of information goodbye.

Haha, yeah I'm waiting for my warranty to void so I can take out my optical drive and put in an SSD (maybe 256 gb). The CPU usually sits at 36 when it's not idling on my bed like it was when I took that screengrab. Nice choice on the GPU and Storage btw.
