Having thick concrete walls is just horrible for wifi. I live in Singapore and I have a few Powerlines on every floor making a total of 5 wifi connections through out the 3 story house. I know how Linus feels.

I think its a great phone, it was a flop at coming up against the S7 at the same price point, your talking like its early 2016 this is $250 now, that is a great deal

I used the G3 for years and am now using the G5, I think the internet is having the effect of making the boot looping issues seem more widespread than they really are. Although it is more likely to bootloop on an LG than other competing brands I don't think it's close to likely.
A certain percentage of phones bootloop, search any major brands phone with 'bootloop' after it and you will find results. Once they had been tarnished it became a great story to run for those hits.
For $250 you are not going to find a better phone, that's a steal.

If its just changing the screen only, then I think its fine. If they are going to change the home button, that that will be an issue of bricking the phone

I would say upgrade it. Z87 isn't that old, maybe wait a little for the new polaris or pascal GPUs.

This happened to me one time. You're going to tilt your head towards the affected ear, and then jump up and down. I'm not kidding this is how I got water out of my ear. I couldn't hear shit out of my right ear, tried this, holy shit.
It'll feel or sound like there's warm ice coming out of your ear, don't be scared let it come out

Hello, I recently figured out how to change the minimum fan speed on my Gigabyte 970 G1, and figured I'd share how I did it with you all.

Do this at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any damages that occur.

DO NOT TURN YOUR PC OFF DURING THE FLASHING PROCESS UNLESS YOU WANT A $330-$700 PAPERWEIGHT.

REMEMBER TO DISABLE YOUR VIDEO CARD DISPLAY DRIVER AS I MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO BEFORE FLASHING THE ROM

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WORKS ON OTHER CARDS OTHER THAN 9XX SERIES, YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND OUT YOURSELF

Gigabyte z87 gaming board is your best option for a green motherboard without paining it yourself. It is still compatible with haswell refresh but MAY require a bios update
