Either the DMM is broken, or it just can't measure 60Hz correctly. It's a cheap one after all. 
 
Even if I got 1 ohm, I'd have believe it, but 1 ohm....can't be....

Seriously, tried this with Aune T1, 39 ohms load resistor, 60Hz sine tone, 0.5V. With load, it went 0.499V, sometimes jumping up to 0.5V *banging head on the wall*
 
Probably my DMM not sensitive/accurate enough tho....

So.....bookshelf/standing speakers, standardly rated at 4-8 ohms impedance would only need small amps that can output less/smaller power than headphones' amps, right? Because the smallest IEM's impedance I've ever seen is 16 ohms, and headphone's is 32 ohms, far bigger than the 4-8 ohms of the standardized speakers' impedance.

I know, I feel ashamed sometimes to be so second rate to some of the people on these forums.  I am afraid my imagination is quite as creative as others.

After parking my gold plated Ferrari in the drive of my $2million condo, I like to stare at the wall of headphones custom designed by God himself and handcrafted by virgin slaves who have been reared and taught nothing but how to build headphones since the day they were born.  I know what sounds good because my listening room has a seat that is lined with rare baby dolphin leather and oiled to perfection by the man who invented leather right after he invented the cow to manufacture it.    My collection far exceeds that of any human and so my immense skill in audio must be held in awe by all the filthy peasants and their feeble attempts to be as good as me.

As someone who actually plays with audio gear on a semi professional level, I now remember why I stopped posting in this forum.

I've yet to be impressed by switching to a "better" amp or DAC. I have been impressed by switching headphones, though.

But it feels more better, and more better is more better for more bettering of betterness.

Grab an AD-700X and just plug them straight to on-board audio, no wonky surround sound effect, no EQ, nothing.
 
If you're still having the same "everything feels it comes from the middle", you need to adjust yourself to a pure stereo, gimmicky software surround sound just broke your perception of positioning

Pretty stupid the amount of people throwing "here watch this video and find out yourself" when they come here for the first time for an answer. Many more would just throw the most common answer (read: hyperx & M50x). Superlux 668B and Shure SRH840 is probably more suitable than both of those for gaming and sound monitoring
