I can't help but think of what they actually have planned for Windows 10 that they aren't telling us about.
Giving kids "free" candy to get in the van is the oldest trick in the book.
I'll bet money they have something up their sleeve that people are not going to be happy about, and will not find out about until a year or so after they upgrade.

I'd like LTT to review this thing, the goTenna. It's an off network cell phone device sold in pairs that lets you keep communicating without cell service. At a limited range of course.

I3. You have an upgrade path (i5 -> i7) and the latest technologies on the board (Mainly PCIe 3.0). The FX series doesn't enjoy much of what the Haswell Core series does. However, if you are streaming/editing the 6350 would be the way to go.

I would check your hard drive settings in the bios i had a similar issue and I changed a setting to ahci from raid on my aunts computer and I was able to fix it.

Neither the Firefox nor the Chrome addon create new users, but they will cause an increase in the "concurrent online user" count. However, that's fine really because most of the users of the addons will be semi-online most of the time (able to respond to PMs and such).

I'm a former police officer, in Texas, not far from the OP actually. I would make an arrest in this case if I believed that he knew the item wasn't intended for him, which would be pretty obvious.  Doesn't mean you'll get a conviction but you would go to jail and go thru the system on it. So, yessir there's plenty of legal issue here, a felony too I believe.. Of course the OP is doing the right thing and a commendable person

My 970 has coil whine that gets really loud, but only if i stress test it, I have yet to hear it at all in games, and I run everything so far at max settings. I think the whole coil whine argument is a bit silly. Even the whine I hear at max load isn't loud enough to be distracting over my audio, if it were to happen during gaming.

The 4690k is Devil's Canyon and only works on h97/z97 boards without a bios update. Other 1150 boards need an update. 
If you don't need any special features, pretty much any h97/z97 board will do. 
You should be looking at z97 boards for oc'ing. B85 boards can oc the G3258 but not K sku cpus like the 4690k. 

And people still insist on 16-64GB SSDs having a place in today's society, in spite of their massively bad price to capacity ratio and near uselessness even as a boot drive.

But the pcie socket provides up to 75W which is 6.25Amps so it won't ever reach 14A from the pcie cable. 780's were reaching 14-15A's
