How are you liking your swiftech cpu cooler? I've considered it myself, but after hearing bad things about their quality control, it got my off buying one.

It may be MSI trying the waters out. For me it seems like a mix between gigabytes black series and MSI oc series.

Seems really nice. Though kids should also learn that only a small percent of them actually might go professional. I personally don't have a issue with it, people accept gym classes, why not Esport too?

playing games like dota and cs go are team based and very complex, getting students to work together in complex environments is usually a good thing, bonus points when it makes them think. and also students need to enjoy school, 3 hours a week of something most students will probably enjoy and engage in that has positive side effects will probably help in other areas.

What is this supposed to teach kids? Fucking teamwork. So many knee jerk reactions against this just because its a "game". Also it isn't mandatory.
The school is just offering another subject the the students can CHOOSE for themselves. 
 
You guys pretty much take for granted the flexibility of the education system in your area. Peeps make exercising a big deal but they don't realise you 
can do physical activities after school too without much effort. Why is it that you only have to do it in school if its so important? 

eSports is a joke. Da fuq? How fucking arrogant can a person be to claim that people who watches esports are a joke. So what you're saying is that Lukes brother is a joke? 

So because your have a different opinion than me, you'll lower your bar for faith in humanity? I guess having an opinion different than most people, is unheard of, and should be strike down!

@AlwaysFSX Keeping young kids healthy, is not based on forcing them to do some boring activity, which the PE teachers got from a handbook. If you want kids to stay healthy forcing them to do 1-2 hours activity per week won't make them healthy.

Never said anyone should love sports or would do after a gym class, what i'm arguing is that gym class doesn't make you any more healthy, doing 1-2 hours "sport" each week.

They don't. They make less active people (like me) even more socially awkward because we get ostracized for not being as active as everyone else.

WE HAVE A WINNER! Personally if I saw someone have "placed t4 at ESL Cologne" on their job application I would heavily consider hiring them. What this tells me is that said individual is able to work with others, is able to work well under high pressure situations, and has the dedication to work hard and compete at a high level. 

Cool... this actually may not be as dumb as some people here think.... esports actually take a high degree of intelligence to play at a high level, it builds teamwork/commnication skills and challenges you with adapting/reacting to scenarios. (all of which are somewhat applicable in business/professional life)  It would be cool if they got some retired players to have guest visits etc... wish I lived in Sweden
