theKumba got a reaction from NICKT in Logitech Is Changing Its Name to "Logi" Because Tech Means Nothing
That Steve Jobs comparison though. Apple Computers was renamed Apple because they stopped gaining their main profits by producing and selling computers.
I guess Logitech (or Logi) won't stop producing tech.

As I said, you could use Prallels to run Windows alongside OSX or Bootcamp to make Windows run on it's own. It's pretty easy to do.
Also you get an excellent battery life, a great trackpad and keyboard and one of the lightest, but still made out of aluminum notebooks. I guess the fanboy just came throuigh a bit. Sorry for that. Kind of.
Or does your school require you to get a stock Windows notebook?
In this case Lenovo has some interesting small and light ultrabooks like the U330.
If you need a little more power than that a you could look into the Lenovo Y50-70, but be sure to get one with an IPS panel, because the TN panel ones are total garbage.

theKumba reacted to Senzelian in new ssd isnt showing up
That is completly normal. You have to create a partition for it in the device manager in Windows.

theKumba reacted to N3rot0xin in SSD's are fantastic, but..
Does an SSD really affect the POST that much? Nothing on the SSD is being loaded during POST. From my experience, the only time a storage device affects boot time in POST is when its not working at all and is causing bios to hang when reading it.

Hold the bios button(Delete, F2, whatever your board uses) as soon as you press the power button.

theKumba got a reaction from EdwinX in Scrapyard Wars Episode 2 - The Scrappening
In my eyes the conclusion came a little bit short. I would have loved to see a part f, in which you go a little bit more into detail about how the systems were rated. Maybe for the next episode of SW.

theKumba reacted to Damikiller37 in Feedback on a rough draft for a wallpaper project
So I'm working on a wallpaper project which I'm drawing from scratch. I used to be decent at drawing but my talent faded with age and I'm trying to get some of it back in my spare time. The wallpapers will be cartoon styled (similar to Adventure Time) wallpapers that capture various funny and popular concepts about the members of Linus Media Group. I've come up with the idea of making a wallpaper project from seeing the drawing HERE a while ago. I'm currently working on the first idea I had. It's obviously still a very rough draft and currently is drawn in Paint.NET but I will be redrawing it in Illustrator so I can get any wallpaper size I want. I will colour it properly, add detail and shade it at that point.
I would appreciate your opinion on what I have so far? Ideas for what I could add to it are also welcome I'm trying to add some objects that relate to the scene and work on some landscape elements.

theKumba reacted to TetraSky in Considering new Macbook, convince me otherwise?
You'd be better off buying the older Macbook Air over the new Macbook 2015, which other than being slightly thinner, offer nothing better. Even the battery is worse.

http://www.macrumors.com/guide/macbook-air-vs-macbook-pro-vs-macbook/
The new macbook is essentially a tablet in a notebook formfactor. Terrible value for your money. Get the Air or go for the Macbook Pro if you really want a mac laptop.

theKumba got a reaction from Bensemus in Apple antenna band that look like real metal
The way it looks like to me is, that they actually developed a new composition of metals that didn't exist before. The thing in your Nokia phone was most likely just plastic, or plastic combined with metal, but not just metal.
I think it's their full right to patent something they developed from ground up.
