It is generally available. 6000C30 EXPO. I see there's a similar kit 6400C32 XMP but I guess that's more targeted for Intel platforms? I could hit the order button...
  4. temps are good when i said no signs on thermal throttling stable 30 idle and 60 while playing game
  5. If you right click the CPU utilization graph and click "Change graph to->Logical processors", you can see the individual core/thread utilization
  6. Ok, please look at your Edge box and tell me the flow rate and lift.
  7. It means 60% of your processor's total processing capacity is in use. The workload isn't necessarily on one core/thread, or evenly distributed across all the cores/threads.
  8. Ill start with this, it could mean a few things, 60% of the 8 cores are being used at 100%, all 8 cores are being used at 60% each, or anything in between And now this, you quite simply dont have more than 8 cores, so you cant use more than them To give an example, you cant drive on more than 4 wheels of your car
  9. It depends. Do you think Meta hired Carmack to pump out code quickly, or did they hire him to write code that runs fast?

It needed attention and was ready to do anything to get it.

    Custom Air Cooler

It's easy to make a shitty cooler using a cnc. Most coolers have fins that are much thinner than what a cnc can mill/cut. Thinner fins are much more effective at dissipating heat.
  12. Not sure what that has to do with cgNAT. Many carriers use it these days, since IPv4 addresses are getting scarcer and they can save cost. Check if your public IP starts with 100.64-127.x.x. Even without cgNAT, ISPs sometimes block ports to prevent people from hosting stuff on residential contracts.
  13. well, i did, depends on the channel and the audience i guess! but i get you, commenting on a forum makes more sense if you're interested in conversation, however for ltt it probably makes more sense to keep engagement on yt, at first at least...
  14. If you want really good separation, You could give the ports for Internet IPs from a private class like 192.168.0. xxx and for the internal network, use another private IP range like 10.x.x.x - 10.255.255.255 or 176.16.x.x - 176.31.255.255 (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network#Private_IPv4_addresses ) You could use two separate network switches or you could use a network switch with management and configure separate VLANs on the switch. Anyway, generally you don't need to have separate network cards, or at the very least it's not worth doing it with gigabit cards... usually you have all the computers and devices connected to a router or a modem supplied by the ISP which acts like a router, and these devices are smart enough to route the local network traffic between the ports on the device, they don't go to the internet. If you want separate local network, it would make more sense to do it with 10gbps (or higher) cards, you can get these days 2 x 40 gbps cards for $30 a piece which also work with 10gbps transceivers or dac cables, for example https://unixsurplus.com/mellanox-connectx-3-pro-en-dual-port-40gbe/ Dual RJ45 10g cards are on same site at around 27$ each ... And you can get more modern SFP28 2 x 25gbps cards for $44 (there was a seller on eBay selling HP branded models of this for $30 each) : https://unixsurplus.com/hp-mellanox-mcx4121a-acat-dual-port-25gbps-sfp28-pci-express-3.0-x8-high-profile/
  15. So I have an 8 core 16 thread cpu. Would 60 percent mean that more than 8 cores are being utlised?
  16. Banned for angry soft toy.
  17. I'm surprised the devs haven't thrown the publisher under the bus for this. If there's been any internal revolt over this decision, I wouldn't be surprised if a dev goes public with it. Meanwhile, I hope the devs have their resumes up to date and ready to jump ship when the time calls for it.

Funniest paradox - the times I have bought high…

I was hesitant to refer to a paradox in first person
  19. Update: Yep, it's an Intel 12th gen with UHD 770, not for gaming. Knowing that - which one would you recommend of the two? Or completely something else?
  20. Hi, I am starting to learn flutter & supabase to develop apps. I have an issue where my code doesn't run on IOS simulator, and the Android simulator is greyed out. I have tried reinstalling the flutter and dart plugins, but still getting the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  21. Sold! I guess I'm too used to Noctua money I struggle to imagine something this cheap being that good. In a quick look at 6000/6400 kits, most were in the CL30-40 range, hence 30 being on the low end of that. The problem is the CL30 kits mentioned on this thread may not be immediately available in UK. I haven't looked for wider stock yet. If I can find a suitable kit quickly I could order everything for delivery tomorrow.

Funniest paradox - the times I have bought high…

Why are you describing me in a status update ?
  23. You do, I won’t. Maybe I’m not misanthropic enough.

    Custom Air Cooler

Are there maybe small flat radiators? The smallest I've seen was for 40mm fan, a radiator for a radial fan. I don't want to argue your understanding of "if the cooler is about", if you think that NH D15 is close to the size of 6x3x8cm then you do you.
