Hey guys 

did you saw the video of total biscuit about need for speed rivals?

the framerate is LOCKED at 30fps on pc

and if you hack the config files and manage to get it running at 60fps the game runs 2x as fast 

like older dos games 

 

such a fail 

 

what do you guys think of the newer games that are not finished?

i think its a better idea to get it released when its all done and bugs fixed

 

these game developers these day

 

even cod ghosts runs really aweful

and consider that this is a next gen game

 

this is another reason why i pirate games before buying the actual game

if its runs crap im not gonna spend a lot of money on it :)

are you sure that he didn't lock it himself for the recording? YouTube only supports 30fps I think.. (Might be 24fps)

they're not drunk, why bother, lets use the same code as 'the run' and put a new UI and cars in it, console peasants will buy it and we'll just screw everyone on pc because were to damn lazy.

I don't see how it would be worse than 30 FPS on a 60 Hz monitor...

 

In theory, it should be better (as it switches frames twice as fast, meaning less lag and tearing).

Ive stopped buying EA games and Criterion logo makes me sure that i did not. Most Wanted was nothing, but a copy of a Burnout Paradise.
