https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/751379/nvidia-geforce-gtx650-2gb-384bit-ddr3-pci-e-fake-/ 8800gt ultra?

the best way to find out what it is, is to take the cooler off and i'll say on the chip.

I don't know... the thing that confuses me is that it has no external power! so if its an old 8800gt why the heck does it even run? 65watts isn't enough... Paypal are feking useless so I doubt ill get my money back.

Ill take it off when I get home - maybe its a 640m LE ? http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/350/geforce-gt-640m-le.html

I don't think so since it does have a dedicated shader clock

its does seem to have simalar specs, but i don't see them going to the trouble of putting a mobile gpu on a desktop pcb.

Dont know what the heck this card is - its likely a gt240 - got ridpped on ebay

CPU: i5-750

GPU: FAKE GTX650 - core 550 - mem 600

Average FPS: 7.1

Score: 297

Setting: basic

attachicon.gifgtx650 fake.gif

attachicon.gif00002.png

what's really odd is the bios number of that card corresponds to an Asus 9500 GT http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/details.php?id=zd4pf

*edit*

and this pretty much confirms it based on the score Cheddle got:

Are 1600 x 900 Scores allowed?

If so:

Phenom II x4 925 @ 3.5 GHz

Asus Radeon R9 270 2 GB Direct CU II @ 975 / 1400

2 x 2 GB @ 1332 MHz

Ultra Presets, 1600 x 900, 8x AA

Average: 38.2

Score: 1600

Min: 17.2
Max: 72.2

All I can say is thank god I finally replaced my 5 year old Radeon 5850 (but sad at the same time!)

Nah just max that Voltage out and start working on only the core and then you should start seeing an improvement.

I'm going to try again later in the week. Something I did think of which might be an issue, my cards are slightly different (One 770 SC, the other a 770 Dual SC), and therefore run different Bioses. I'm tempted to try flash one from one card onto the other to see if that helps

Come on, considering how poorly I did in the OC lottery with my CPU, my graphics cards gotta give me something, right?

Don't try to flash one cards BIOS to another it can lead up to a very expensive paper weight.

Just how do I do that? I tried using the Image button and inserting the URL from the image located on my computer. I looked around on the forums for a guide on how you post properly, but I can't find any and also I can't find a search function anywhere on the forum? So how do I do it and where do I find the information?:-)

The only difference between men and boys is the price of the toys....
