Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

 Just how do I do that? I tried using the Image button and inserting the URL from the image located on my computer. I looked around on the forums for a guide on how you post properly, but I can't find any and also I can't find a search function anywhere on the forum? So how do I do it and where do I find the information?:-)

there is, but I find using google to be more effective. just type "linustechtips" followed by a space and then folowed by whatever you are searching for.

There is one, it's just borked and a waste of time. You would have a better chance of finding what forum content you're looking for if you looked in your local phonebook.

I ran benchmarks at both 1080p and 1440p to see the difference, and it is very clear that 1440p has much higher requirements! ^^

47,7 FPS

Score: 1997

it was a bit dusty! i bet it runs a fair bit cooler now you've clean the heatsink. i would think you would be doing well to beat the gtx480's on the list, you've nearly beaten the highest one.

Yeah the voltage was 100% maxxed out for the card I think the VRM's were getting to hot and causing it to be unstable and crash at anything higher.

Nah just max that Voltage out and start working on only the core and then you should start seeing an improvement.

 

Tried that, +40MHz on the core on both cards, Valley spazzed out on scene 6 again. It's always at the end of scene 6 that it happens, the screen will just go black (Only on that monitor) until the next scene starts rendering.

 

I tried putting +12mV on the cards. Temperatures look fine. Near as I can tell there's no artifacts happening. Why the hell does this keep happening?

the best way to find out what it is, is to take the cooler off and i'll say on the chip.

 

the chip isnt really labelled... it reads

The chip looks legit, similar to the 8xxx / 9xxx series.

 

I contacted the seller and they offered to refund 15%... I asked for 50%

you need to change the gpu clock scale in afterburner. its gone off the top

lol! i would love to get a custom bios on mine that allowed voltage control or changing the power limit. i think as long as i can keep it cool enough it could go futher as it crashes, but i think its from lack of power rather than being unstable because of its core limit or artifacting

Unfortunately there is no dedicated voltage control you have to basically set it and forget it. I did think about adding an addition molex connector so that it has a bit more power for it. But that is for another day when I finally plan on killing it.

so 1.2-1.3vshould be ok. the main problem with mine is that it gets to over 100c at stock!

Do a ghetto fan set up Like have done for my cards when benchmarking and you can get them temps down real quick, the 6950 overclocked with out the ghetto fan set up I use for overclocking it will hit 85C under load.

i have done but i think its the heatsink as it only aluminium, low profile and single slot. i think i might try to attach an amd stock cpu heatsink somehow.

That could defiantly work, I guess I luck out though because its winter were I live and the outside temp is around 7C so I just feed that air to my case.
