Yeah it's still really warm where I am (by warm I mean hot and humid hot). When I can open my window again I'm going to be folding while I sleep. But I can only do at most one WU before I need to use my computer for other stuff.

Finally made it on the list, and I'll be running my machine on full from now until labor day currently I am in 179th in the LTT team with 25,084 points. So I'll see how far I get on labor day hopefully in the top 100 top 50 being optimistic.

The WU is a Work Unit the unit that is beeing procced by the GPU CPU.

What is this folding@home that you all speak of?

Here is the official website

 

Its basically doing calculations with your computer to figure out how proteins fold and how sometimes they can mess up causing cancers and other diseases.

Vettexl Have you put in the flags for the advance cores? You probably will get a bump in PPD.

 

Just go to the configure button and then go over to slots and select the GPU slots and then click edit. The beta flags for the new cores are

Make sure that it have core17, there is not always a guarantee that you'll get one but when you do also give it some time to stable out.

Well I shot up to 151 with 68,053 total points and 16 completed WUs, I think it helps having a 770 run on full for the past couple days straight. :P
