  1. I bought a ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI board to use with my 9800X3D and haven't had any issues with it thus far. I have no idea how this board is priced in your region so keep that in mind. as Shimejii said, don't reuse the Dell PSU.
  2. Seconded. Also some useful programs here Apps | built by Bel ❤︎
  3. Aaron's Restaurant in Cloverdale family owned place that makes great pizza
  4. that really sucks to hear, additionally with how long it may take to get a replacement card good luck!
  5. I don't suppose you have another computer you can test the card in? (or if you have a friend who's willing to lend their computer to test it) I have the same GPU as you with an i7 6700k on the Z170 platform and haven't experienced anything like that. never hurts to do some cleaning like this, but idk if that'll help if OP's 1060 works fine in the same slot (presumably).
  6. back before we settled on a standardized naming convention for machines at work, I used to enjoy naming laptops after battleships from different fleets like Canada, US, UK, Australia, etc. lots to pick from as well
  7. Found a hard drive last year at work that's six months older than my younger brother
  8. A step closer to organic computing? Give it 20 years and we'll end up using computers like the Wraith do in SG:A
  9. Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section or not allowed in some fashion. Two weeks ago, there was a link to a competition to win a Jord watch on the WAN Show found here: After entering (and not winning) said competition, they did in fact send a $50 discount code which I will not be using Per the e-mail, Jord said it was fine if the code was shared with someone who will make use of it. So if anyone here was thinking of getting a Jord watch, here's a $50 off discount code: dead link removed
  10. no i didn't want to pay the amount they were asking for i'll just get a cheap extension cable and pair it with an adapter, that should do the trick
  11. Definitely. I posted last month and didn't receive a single reply despite the topic being viewed 67 times
  12. I've had experience dealing with Canwest Telephone based on Annacis Island and they know their stuff - perhaps they may provide you with direction as to what you can do with the system? I don't intend for this to be an advertisement for Canwest; this is meant only to help the original poster.
  13. That PSU is fully modular, so the original cables that came with it should look like this. You should check to see if you have any more. I'm guessing what you've attached in the photo is an extension of some sort, perhaps through your case?
  14. So they want $39.67 with $9.95 shipping plux tax for this cable. Anyone know where I can get this for cheaper? Surely this must exist elsewhere
