silent or near silent PSU

SweatyWhiteJedi

What power supplies do you know of that have fans that disable until under a certain load? I know that my computer uses at it's max 501W  so preferably a 550W or above PSU.

My EVGA G2 750w is silent, I almost never hear it (maybe once every couple weeks at most, for a couple minutes) The EVGA G2 and GS I know have Eco modes, that when selected, give the fans a ramp profile so they don't start to spin until 55% load, really recommend the G2 750w or G2 series.

evga g2/gs/p2/ps, corsair RM i-x/ AX/HX, super flower Leadex gold/plat , seasonic X/snow silent

AX has a lot of cases of coil whine

If you wanna spend the big bucks, the SeaSonic fanless PSU is amaze.

But other than that I'd recommend the EVGA GS/GQ/G2 power supplies.

Kingwin Stryker STR-500 or Rosewill Silent Night....

They both can do 600w and are fanless... If you can find them in stock anywhere.

No but like the AX and AXi have a remarkably high amount of coil whiners. They're a freaking amazing PSU elsewhere but they do coil whine.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
