Update 2: Partal Assembly, more cutting

 

Oooh happy(and busy) day,.. Today we cut more sheets, and welded some case panels.

 

Diamond Cube is assembled only with welding, no screws are holding panels together. This makes the case very strong and prevents panels from bending, when we put hardware in our case.

 

You have to be careful welding, because if you make a mistake, you have to start all over again. Welds are so strong, because no glue is holding panels together, 

you are literaly welding acrylic sheets.

 

Also finished panels are 8mm thick, with welding two 4mm panels. This also makes the case strong and gives me more modding options.

when i read it's for your cousin my first thought was Gta iv with roman but any way this build look very cool and loving the white

Update 4: Finish

 

Hi everyone, the finish line is near. In this update we finish building Diamond Cube Case for my cousins birthday.

That case is amazing. The only thing I would improve about the looks would be to use white and black cables, but I understand you're limited by time and money. Can I have it? :P
