Is 750W enough for SLI 980 Ti?

I'm going to build a rig with a 980 Ti and I'd planned to use a 750W PSU, but I'm unsure whether 750W is enough for a potential second 980 Ti down the road.

If without overclock, yes, is enough.

You can always go with a better 850 Power supply, to have some overclocking headroom. But yes, it should be enough if you're not a crazy overclocker.

it should be fine, unless you are pushing some intense overclocks

You're more than fine with overclocking.

As is pretty much every GPU. He'll be fine on 750W.

Should be, hell, ToT is running dual Titan X's and a 4960X on either a 750W or 850W psu. And he's like, totally fine xD

Why would you spend 1300 on your video cards and feed them shit power?

When you get to 100% duty cycle, power quality deteriorates big time.

So, NO. This is a terrible idea. Get a 1kW PSU. I pull 748W max from the wall overcooked generously on stock voltage with a 5930k.
