plastidip your Mobo ? (Not the Linus Way)

Okay guys, wanted to run this by you before actually trying it. we've all cringed at linus repainting this crazy expensive motherboard, but let's say that i'm happy with the color of my motherboard slots and I wanted to paint everything else like this guy did right here.

yes, I have read the comments on the page, but I still want to hear what you have to say !

Watch Out for my mod log in the build log section comming soon, it's called Lugia :)

thanks in advance guys !

Wow, that's actually really nice.

pretty sure there would be heat issues with plastidipped RAM, but yeah White RAM would look good

I like the white, although it's a bit much.

yeah I wont do it white, thinking more like matte dark gray, Black, or blue. Don't what would look the best, My mobo is the Msi z87 g41-mate and I realy like the blue of the accents

It will be a fair bit of work to mask and create cut lines before removing the masking tape off the slots but it can be done. Just be sure to remove the heatsinks and do them separately or leave them bare ideally. Just remember to peel plasti-dip off of VRM or chipsets that need to make contact with the heatsinks via TIM.

I don't really like the look of that mod. Too plain.

Yeah I might try it on an old and cheap system that was given to me, so If I screw up, no biggy !
